WHERE WE PRACTICE: M Health Fairview St. John’s Hospital is a community-based, award-winning hospital. Family medicine is well respected and vital to the hospital’s success. The busy emergency room, ICU, and OB service complement the in-depth teaching services in internal medicine, newborn pediatrics, cardiology, and general surgery.

Several of our residents participated in our Walk with a Doc program today!
Walk with a Doc is a program that allows physicians to connect with the community and patients in a non clinical setting while partaking in physical activity! We are so excited to be incorporating this program into our clinic and residency program!

- a Registered Dietician spoke to us about nutrition in an inpatient setting
- broke into small groups to talk about AKIs and SIADH
- Dr Walz, nephrologist, talked about CKD management

Vaccines save lives—full stop. We can continue to protect communities if we continue to vaccinate patients of all ages. AAFP board chair Dr. Steven Furr delivered testimony at today’s ACIP meeting, where he stressed the need to restore public trust in health care and prioritize scientific integrity, transparency and continuity.
