Hello everyone!

Please come join The Childbirth Collective on Tuesday, April 8th from 6:30-8pm to practice Comfort Measures for Labor @ The MN Birth Center - Saint Paul. This class in donation-based and we meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month to discuss how to break the fear, tension, pain cycle, ways to promote labor progess and practice some hand on techniques to use during labor.

Don’t forget doulas can be a support for a birth in the OR as well! Breathing techniques and encouragement are a huge support no matter what way your baby comes in to this world!

Even if they can’t attend the surgical procedure, they offer support before and after.

Curious about your baby’s position? Ask your provider if they can tell you! There are positions that are more optimal for childbirth and things you can do to give baby room to move!

Some people mistake doulas for midwives, do you know the difference?

Doulas and midwives are NOT the same- but they are both so important with what they offer!
There are also postpartum doulas, who provide support to new parents after baby arrives, as well as bereavement doulas, who support parents who are expecting a loss, or experience a loss.
