We had a big treat last week at St Anthony Park Home! The River City Quartet came in and stole our hearts!💕

For over nine years the River City Quartet has delighted audiences in theaters, clubs, residences and community centers throughout the Twin Cities and beyond, delivering standards and pop and show tunes in striking four part harmony. On request, they also provide gospel and worship music for local congregations.

Bob Dowma (tenor), John Chouinard (lead), Jim Foy (bass) and Dan Chouinard (baritone) all share broad musical backgrounds and years of experience as entertainers. Bob, John and Jim bring a combined 180 years of barbershop singing experience. Dan adds his expertise as a professional pianist, accordionist and sing-along enabler.

River City Iowa is the fictional setting for Meredith Willson's The Music Man, and the individual members of the River City Quartet have performed in many productions of this iconic musical over the years.

It's never too late to tap into the incredible potential of games and our residents, family and friends at St. Anthony Park Home ❤️ game days. It has also been proven to enhance moods, critical thinking and overall quality of life. Harrisburg University's research demonstrates the profound impact of tabletop games on social skills. Study participants enjoyed reduced anxiety and enhanced mental wellness. Moreover, the study showed that therapeutic games can preserve cognitive function, reduce social anxiety, and promote mental well-being in adults.
