Increase your reach, take the chance. I think that is a lesson we are being shown today. Using our senses but living from the heart is our lesson to learn. It is the strength you find to be open-hearted. To not regret the things that have past but to look forward to the Vision of what you would like to have unfold. Be it in the World, or your own life. This is the meaning of searching for and finding your meaning, purpose and joy.

Being with Grief began to help people with the loss that we encounter as we go through life. It was established to honor the memory of our daughter, Leah. Her loss had a profound impact on our lives and we came through it willingly to be witness to others in their journey.

What we have experienced and share are the lessons that others have gone through mixed with our own observations. It is a privilege being willingly to sit down to talk about how loss changes our view of living a full life. We have shared stories of most forms of loss. It is amazing that we identified over 40 different types of loss and the associated grief. These stories have inspired us and we hope that when you listen that they inspire you as well.

Once upon a time I was Comfortably Numb. In today’s environment, it is “the dream that is gone” lament but if we remain numb nothing will be accomplished.

Dealing with the trauma and loss, we must shake off the lethargy and offer the service that only we can. Our gifts and our talents to be used if we are to treat the symptoms and get underneath the visible ills to deal with the heart and begin with the healing.

That is why we offer our podcast on all platforms to address our situation. Monday Morning Conversations with Nancy and Dan is a podcast that offers a 50 year long partnership of ideas and wisdom garnered over a host of real life issues and experts who offer their experiences and stories to navigate the shoals of grief and the islands of sadness.
