A resident at Carondelet shared a prayer that was written by Bee Meyer's, our life enrichment team member. It resonated so much, we wanted to share it with our community.
"I thank you for your promise never to leave me. You know my challenges, Lord - that my body no longer does all the things I ask of it, and that I don’t want to bother people when I should be able to do some things for myself. Remind me that you have placed me here in order to receive the help that I need; I am not a burden but your own child, called and beloved. Help me to be patient with myself and to allow the staff here to do the job they love: helping me. Into your hands I commend all that I am, knowing you are with me always. In Jesus’ holy name" - Amen.
