Looking for a sweet traveler who has fallen head-over-paws for the North? Layla is a charming terrier mix (born approx. 4/14/25) who recently moved from Arkansas. She’s already mastered the art of catching snowflakes and is ready to catch your heart next!

Why Layla is the Best Girl:
The Look: She has a unique wire-and-soft coat (no snow clumps!) with adorable "beard tufts" and stylish white accents on her nose, boots, and tail.

The Brains: She’s a star student learning "sit," "down," and "leave it." She’s even started to "go p**p" on command!

The Manners: She takes treats gently, waits for her dinner bowl, and doesn’t beg at the table (though she gives great puppy-dog eyes).

The Playmate: A professional "stuffing remover" who now loves ropes and Nylabones. She walks well on a harness and is excited to meet kids and other dogs.

Her Perfect Day
Layla is a "velcro dog" who loves to trot between her people. Her ideal afternoon involves a car ride (where she settles quickly after sightseeing), a brisk walk, and a long nap on the couch while you watch TV.

At night, she’s a total pro—she "kennels up" for a treat and settles in quietly for the night. While she’s still working on her "home alone" confidence, she’s a quick learner who just wants to be near her favorite humans.
