Open Cities would like to welcome Lucas Cannon, our new Clinical Pharmacist!

Lucas is originally from Denton, Texas and completed his Pharm.D. at Texas Tech University School of Pharmacy in Abilene, Texas. Once completing pharmacy school, Lucas moved to the beautiful state of Minnesota where he worked in a retail pharmacy for almost 2 years. After realizing he missed building strong patient relationships, he decided to apply for a pharmacy residency through The University of Minnesota. Lucas was lucky enough to match with Community-University Health Care Center (CUHCC) in Minneapolis and was one of their 2022-2023 residents. Federally Qualified Urban Health Network (FUHN) was in the process of expanding its pharmacy services to all clinics when Lucas was approaching graduation from residency, so he applied. Lucas was hired on with FUHN and preferenced Open Cities Health Clinic after meeting with the previous pharmacy resident here and hearing about all the incredible people who work for the clinic and patients the clinic serves. I will be splitting my time with CUHCC and Open Cities.

Fun Fact: Lucas is a certified scuba diver and has had dives off the coasts of Hawaii, Costa Rica, and Thailand.

For questions about our pharmacy, med management or to request a refill call our direct pharmacy line at (651) 290-9256.
