COSMIC INSIGHT:
Did you know the word Apocalypse (apokalypsis) from ancient Greek means “unveiling,” “revealing,” or “uncovering”?
Over time, it became linked to catastrophe and final judgment, but its original meaning was never about the end of the world, only the end of illusion. It’s the moment when what’s been hidden rises to the surface.
That doesn’t make it easy. When the veil lifts, what’s revealed can be dark and unsettling. You don’t need an astrologer to tell you that's exactly the moment we are in.
When the cosmic skies bring rare alignments that open portals for massive change, we feel it and often in catastrophic ways.
One such turning point came with the Great Conjunction in December 2020, marking a new 200-year cycle in the element of Air. That same period brought a pandemic that affected our ability to breathe and the global outcry after the murder of George Floyd, “I can’t breathe.” Both events echoed the symbolism of Air: life, using our voice, and the collective uproar for change and justice.
Astrologers saw this as the symbolic end of one era and the beginning of another. A shift from the heavy, earthbound focus on control and material systems to an Air Era driven not only by calling out underlying harm of oppressive systems causing violence and harm, but one defined by new ideas, innovation, and community.
Since then, the skies have continued to mark major transitions. The Pluto return in the chart of the United States, a cycle that happens roughly every 248 years, last seen around the time of the Declaration of Independence, has exposed the shadow side of power and control, signaling the collapse of authority structures built on domination rather than wisdom.
All around us, there’s a feeling of chaos: systems unraveling, old certainties dissolving, confusion and disillusionment rising. Yet beneath it all lies revelation. Truths are coming to light politically, environmentally, spiritually, and personally. This isn’t random. It’s the process of collective awakening. Maybe this is what it looks like when truth finally pierces the veil.
We’re now entering a new phase. Uranus soon moves from Ta**us into Gemini, shifting focus from stability and survival to communication, technology, and new ways of thinking and connecting. Neptune and Saturn very soon will move from Pisces into Aries, pushing us from reflection and tests of faith into action. These shifts remind us that change is part of a larger cycle, and one that commands more from us than we thought possible.
This is exactly what it looks like when the ground shifts and the old ways crumble. Looking forward with honesty and acceptance allows us to use that energy to help shape what’s next under these revolutionary skies.
As we step further into this new era, the questions before us are about who we are willing to become:
•How will we share power rather than cling to it?
•What does freedom mean if it isn’t extended to everyone?
•Can we keep calling it justice if it only serves some and not all?
•What kind of nation do we want to be? One that protects the past or one that grows beyond it?
•How do we build communities that value both individuality and collective care?
