Founded in 1912, we are a non-profit organization providing traditional interment to the Jewish Community. The Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery of Saint Paul has faithfully served our Jewish Community since its inception in 1912. Born out of a vision, inspired by chesed and tzedakah, a determined group of Jewish immigrants set about to provide a dignified place of rest for those who lacked the financial means to obtain congregational synagogue membership, or who could not otherwise afford a proper traditional burial. Over the intervening decades the Chesed Shel Emes Society has lovingly carried forward the original mission of its founders: traditional Jewish burial based on the teachings of Torah. With help from our members, and wise guidance from our governing board, Chesed Shel Emes remains an important institution in our Jewish Community, upholding meaningful tradition. Whether one is observant or secular, we are here to serve our Jewish family. Paul is a 501(c)(3) exempt, Non-Profit Organization, unaffiliated and independent from any synagogue or temple, open to all streams of Jewish expression.

What a great way to honor our vets this Memorial Day, Chesed Shel Emes 11:12AM

As promised, here are the estimated times for our flyover on Monday. Please remember that these are estimated times and we will do our best to be within a few minutes. If for some reason we need to delay due to weather, THIS will be where we will announce updates first.

If weather is a problem for Monday, we will still do the flyover, but it will be reschedule for June 6th.

We want to see what photos you capture of Miss Mitchell during the flyover! Submit your pictures on Facebook or email the wing. The winner will get a B-25 tee-shirt! We will randomly pick the winner and you must submit your photo by Friday, May 29, 2020.

Memorial Day Observance

OBSERVANCE OF OUR DEPARTED MILITARY VETERANS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, MAY 25, 2020 AT CHESED SHEL EMES CEMETERY IS CANCELLED.

THE CEMETERY WILL BE OPEN FOR VISITING BUT THE CHAPEL AND RESTROOMS WILL BE CLOSED.
