Today we recognize and celebrate and honor people of our First Nations, specifically indigenous students, staff, faculty and community members. We also acknowledge we reside on Dakota land; the ancestral homeland of the Dakota people who were forcibly exiled from the land because of aggressive and persistent settler colonialism. Indigenous Peoples' Day is not just about who we honor today, but what we do everyday.

Today, July 26, is the anniversary of the signing of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). This act ensures equal access and opportunities for people with disabilities. This button was created to promote the ADA in 1990, the year it was signed into law.
