As Thanksgiving approaches, I’ve been reflecting on something that feels really meaningful to me.
Most people don’t talk about this, but our lives tend to move in these quiet 7-year chapters - seasons where we grow, break open, learn, and eventually become someone new.
Seven years ago, I walked away from my old job in the nursing home world and enrolled in massage therapy school. I had no idea what I was stepping into. I just knew I needed a different life… one that felt more aligned, more alive, more me.
Since then?
I’ve started businesses.
I’ve gone through divorce and found love again.
I’ve raised my son while reshaping my entire identity.
I’ve built healing spaces, created programs, and helped people in ways I never imagined seven years ago.
I’ve done deep trauma healing and rebuilt my health.
I’ve learned more about the human body, the nervous system, the psyche, and the soul than I ever thought possible.
I’ve earned certifications, walked through initiations, and survived seasons that felt like they would break me… but instead, they became the seasons that remade me.
Looking back, this entire 7-year chapter was about growth, healing, and transformation... in every possible form.
So today, I’m grateful.
Grateful for the woman I used to be who took the first step.
Grateful for every lesson that stretched me.
Grateful for the people who supported me.
Grateful for the hard moments that taught me how strong I really am.
Grateful for the new beginning that’s forming right now... because it feels like a big one.
If you’re reading this, I hope you’re able to take a moment and appreciate the chapter you’re in… even if it feels messy, unfamiliar, or uncomfortable. You might be in the middle of a cycle that’s preparing you for your next becoming.
Here’s to gratitude, growth, and the next season ahead. 🤍
Happy Thanksgiving. 🧡✨
