Today is the 32nd day if our 42 day Holiday Cheer celebration. Congrats to Isla for winning our holiday raffle! Today was also “Four Calling Birds” for the 12 Days of Christmas challenge and our culinary team made a Cherry Pudding Parfait.

It’s Day 3️⃣ of our 12 Days of Christmas Culinary Challenge and Day 31 of our Holiday Cheer Celebration. Our team dazzled our residents with a French Cassoulet to represent “Three French Hens.”

Day 30 brings a special presentation for residents and staff about Kwanzaa. It also gives an opportunity for our Culinary team to dazzle us with a drink made from Cranberries and Bourbon inspired by “two turtle doves” from the 12 days of Christmas.

Merry Christmas! Happy 29th day of our Holiday Cheer Celebration. Our Christmas Elves passed out our resident and staff gifts as they brought cheer to those in our community. Today also begins our 12 Days of Christmas Culinary challenge. To represent “A Partridge in a Pear Tree” they brought us Poached Pear Cobbler with whipped cream.

Merry Christmas Eve! Today on day 2️⃣8️⃣ we continue our Holiday Cheer with a very special tradition. Our Executive Director, Mindy reads the story Twas the Night Before Christmas in all of our neighborhoods. It’s in these moments our residents can reminisce, reflect and prepare to spend time with their friends and family! We also lit the center candle in our Advent wreath and read the prayer for Christmas Eve.

Day 27 and we are giving the baddies of the bunch their day. Today’s events were all about Bah Humbug. We had a visit from the Grinch himself. We also had our very own Festivus celebration with the airing of the grievances, the feats of strength and meatloaf meatballs.

It is the 26th day of our Holiday Cheer celebration. Today our event was a cookie excchange and it was delicious! Residents baked and shared their favorite Christmas cookies and candies with their neighbors.

Brunch with Santa with was a smashing success! It’s the 25th day of Holiday Cheer and so much joy to spread around. We had a special visit from Santa, Winter Solstice meditation, the 8th night of Hanukkah and the Forth Sunday in Advent. Phew…
