Mary Zeiser- Williams had her follow up primary doc appointment today and they are getting rid of one of her blood pressure meds and then dosing down another med. She’ll have a follow up in a few weeks to see if that helps with any of her confusion, hallucinations and paranoia 🙏🤞💜

So Mary-isms like this have been happening more often lately 😢
Mary Zeiser- Williams & I went out to dinner the other night to meet up with Ally & Joe and the in-laws.
We got there early and walked around to see if anyone else was there yet. There was a big group in a back area and Mary swore she saw her sisters at that table even though we weren’t meeting them there. Of course I told her that was not them and we weren’t even meeting them. So she just stood there by the table of people and set her purse down and argued with me. I’m sure they were all wondering who the hell we were and probably thought she was drunk. I tried to get her out of there but she wasn’t having it. So I stepped away for a sec to regroup and came back and told her, oh I see them over here in a different area (lil white lie). She went with me and we found a table, then luckily everyone else showed up. 😊 ♥️ 😔
I just have to remember to not fight or contradict her and try and play along with her hallucinations/confusions.

Sad & Happy day for Mary Zeiser- Williams, it was her last day of her 12 weeks of therapy. It’s a good sign she finished...

Sad & Happy day for Mary Zeiser- Williams, it was her last day of her 12 weeks of therapy. It’s a good sign she finished it up but she will miss all her new friends and all the great employees @ SSM day institute.
She got a lil teary eyed and gave lots of hugs.
Funny thing today, we brought in treats for all the employees as a thank you and later on in the day Mary wanted to grab one and they were all already gone 😝

We just got her MRI’s online, there are 60 something different scans and I picked out a couple of the better ones. It’s amazing what they can see in just this one scan.

Mary Zeiser- Williams’ family meeting at therapy went good this morning. They said she is still at her baseline in some areas but has shown an improvement in other areas and has not declined in any. They have an exit strategy set up for next Friday her last day of therapy. The doc scrip runs out that day. And they said let her have a 1-2 month break and see how she does and if she declines after a month get with doc for new scrip for more therapy.

Mary Zeiser- Williams’ MRI was good no changes, so another MRI in January and still NO treatments since no recurrence. Blood pressure was low yesterday so need to go to primary to get that checked out and maybe adjust meds. Also try to adjust another med to see if that will help with confusion, paranoia and hallucinations.

Well the MRI took way longer than normal she was fidgeting and shaking. And she hit the emergency stop button a few times 🤦‍♂️
So that made us late to her brain shunt check where we are waiting now 😢
