As plastic surgeons, we take it very seriously when people confide in us. At our most basic level we are asking people to show us physical areas that they are self-conscious about or believe it has led to a lifetime of possibly lower self-esteem.

Some patients do feel like seeing a plastic surgeon is going to be some “list of personal roasting.”
