We’re Hiring a BCBA / PLBA for our Therapeutic Education Center (St. Peters, MO)

Applied Behavior Services is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Provisionally Licensed Behavior Analyst (PLBA) to join our team!

We are a small, locally owned ABA team focused on providing high-quality services for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in a supportive educational environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring staff, collaborating with teachers and families, and designing meaningful, individualized programming for students.

Wednesday Win

This week we celebrated an incredible moment of progress for one of our clients. What started as a program focused on identifying familiar people using photos has grown into real-life recognition. They are now independently identifying mom, dad, and their therapist in person.

The biggest win came this week when the client walked up to a peer, got their attention by calling their name, and independently asked for a turn. It was such a meaningful moment for the entire team to witness!

We are so proud of this client and the entire team whose dedication, patience, and hard work continue to support these amazing moments of growth. 💙

✨ Wednesday Win! ✨

One of our Center students has been working incredibly hard on building independence with potty training since October, and we’re so proud of the progress he’s made. What started as very frequent check-ins has gradually grown into longer and longer successful stretches, and he is now staying dry for extended periods and using the bathroom independently and safely.

The most meaningful part of this progress is how much his confidence has grown. He absolutely loves earning his potty prizes and proudly showing off his collection to the team. 🎉

Moments like these remind us that progress often comes from small, consistent steps over time. We’re so proud of the determination he’s shown and the teamwork from our staff supporting him along the way! 💙

What’s Your Win Wednesday 🎉

Today we’re celebrating a big win for one of our students! He showed amazing growth in self-advocacy by initiating conversations, making independent requests, and appropriately expressing his needs. One highlight? He politely asked a staff member to “please be quiet” which was both funny and an awesome example of confident communication!

Another huge win: after getting halfway to sensory and having to turn back due to a schedule change, he handled the disappointment beautifully. He calmly transitioned back and even asked to read instead. That flexibility is HUGE growth.

We’re so proud of the resilience and independence we’re seeing! 💙

🌟 What’s Your Win Wednesday? 🌟

Today’s win absolutely melted our hearts.

We’ve been working for months with one of our young learners on identifying familiar people, such as family members, peers, and staff. It’s been steady, intentional work behind the scenes.

This week, during a routine moment with a parent present, we asked, “Who is this?” And for the very first time, she correctly identified her parent. Her parent shared that it was the first time they had ever heard her do that!
The very next day, she did it again with her other parent! 💛

These are the moments that matter. Not just goals on a program sheet, but real-life connection, independence, and families experiencing something new for the first time.

We are so incredibly proud of her.
