🌟 It's What’s Your Win Wednesday! 🌟

This week, we are beyond proud to celebrate an incredible win from one of our adult clients! For over a year, he has been volunteering at a senior living center, supporting both the dining room and housekeeping teams. Through his dedication and hard work, he has grown tremendously in confidence and independence—and this month, he’s taking an exciting next step by transitioning to volunteering without adult support!
The staff and residents adore him, especially his contagious smile and strong work ethic. He’s consistently recognized for the pride he takes in his work, and yesterday that recognition became official. The housekeeping manager surprised him with a Volunteer of the Month award, complete with a framed certificate and a box of thoughtful surprises, including a gift card.

We are so incredibly proud of him and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next! 💙

We’re honored to share Rylan’s story 💚 Rylan is one of the incredible kids living with Phelan-McDermid syndrome, a rare genetic condition. This campaign helps raise awareness, support families, and fund research. Thank you to Rylan’s family for allowing us to help spread the word and celebrate such an amazing kid.

🌟 Win Wednesday! 🌟

We’re so proud of one of our students and the amazing progress he’s making with his programming! 💙This week, he’s been showing growing independence and communication in so many meaningful ways — using the bathroom on his own and turning the light on, washing his hands with very few prompts, and even cleaning up by wiping tables when he makes a mess.

He’s also communicating more intentionally, using his words, vocalizations, gestures, and signs to let others know what he wants — from asking for the swing, to telling us when he wants to leave the room. He’s pointing to make choices, attending and interacting more with others, and visually attending to his words when requesting .We’re especially excited to see him mastering goals and making progress with self-regulation.

These wins reflect his hard work, consistency, and the power of individualized programming. We couldn’t be more proud of him!

✨Wednesday Win ✨

🚀✨ Out of This World Learning! ✨🚀

Today our students had an unforgettable experience — we were joined on a live video call by a real astronaut! 👨‍🚀🌎

He shared what it’s like to launch into space, travel to the International Space Station, and live there for six months. Students and staff got to watch clips from his mission, see life in microgravity, and ask him all their big questions during a Q&A session.

Experiences like this inspire curiosity, spark imagination, and remind our students that their dreams can be as big as the universe. 🌟

Congratulations to our Clinic and Community Employee of the Month - Alison Karnoski

Alison is an RBT who works in both our Therapeutic Education Center as well as our Community, home based program. She has been such an exemplary employee since I begin working with her. Not to mention she works Friday night sessions, from 5-7pm, and has some of the most consistent attendance I have seen from an RBT. Her notes are spectacular and she never needs a reminder to get them converted. While in session her trial counts are high and her IOA is always great. She’s dedicated to the needs of her client and makes great suggestions when things need some tweaking. She is quick to communicate and always with a positive attitude. Alison is doing a really great job! We are so happy to have her!!

✨ Wednesday Win! ✨

We hosted our very first school dance, and it was a huge success! 🎉
This was a trial event and we invited only our North Campus, and they showed up ready to have fun, dance, and make memories. 💃🏽🕺🏽

We’re so proud of our students and thankful to our staff for helping bring this idea to life. Here’s to more positive experiences, more community, and more wins ahead! 💛
