🌟 What’s Your Win Wednesday? 🌟

Today’s win absolutely melted our hearts.

We’ve been working for months with one of our young learners on identifying familiar people, such as family members, peers, and staff. It’s been steady, intentional work behind the scenes.

This week, during a routine moment with a parent present, we asked, “Who is this?” And for the very first time, she correctly identified her parent. Her parent shared that it was the first time they had ever heard her do that!
The very next day, she did it again with her other parent! 💛

These are the moments that matter. Not just goals on a program sheet, but real-life connection, independence, and families experiencing something new for the first time.

We are so incredibly proud of her.

With a disability, planning for life after high school can feel overwhelming — but you don’t have to navigate it alone.

BCI Certified Benefits Practitioner, Diana Barber, hosts a Transition Discussion on the third Wednesday of each month. These small-group sessions are designed to answer questions, explore options, and talk through next steps for students and families preparing for the transition to adulthood. To keep the conversation meaningful and personalized, participation is limited to just five attendees each month.

February is already full, but you can claim a spot in March! Register at https://calendly.com/bci-benefits-planning and come ready to learn, connect, and plan with confidence!

🌟 Wednesday Wins 🌟

We have had so much to celebrate this week at ABS!

At our Clinic:
We hosted a very successful Open House and loved meeting so many wonderful families and members of our community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about what we do!

We’re also seeing amazing social growth:
✨ Friends playing together for longer periods of time
✨ Using words to ask for a break
✨ Having safe hands during play with their friends

At our Centers:
We’re celebrating big wins in everyday routines:
✨ Calmly tolerating daily routines like using the bathroom or heating lunch
✨ Using words to request what they want
✨ Students giving staff hugs after weeks of thoughtful rapport-building

We are so proud of our learners and our team. Growth happens in the small moments — and this week was full of them. 💛

What’s Your Win Wednesday? 🌟

This week, we’re celebrating some BIG wins from our incredible team!

🎉 One of our newest team members has officially passed her RBT exam and is now a Registered Behavior Technician — a huge accomplishment and a testament to her dedication and hard work.

🎓 We’re also proud to share that one of our amazing teachers has completed her master’s thesis and is officially on her way to graduating!

What makes these wins even more meaningful is why they matter. Both of these team members consistently go the extra mile to learn, grow, and challenge themselves — all so they can provide the highest quality education and therapy for the children and families we serve.

We are incredibly proud of you and so grateful to have professionals on our team who are committed to lifelong learning and excellence. 💛
