What is the best push-up position?

The best push-up position really depends on what your goal or Central focus is from performing a push-up. If you want to focus more on engaging your pecs, then more of a narrow stance would be better. If you want to focus on burning out your triceps, then the diamond position is best.

If you solely just want to be able to perform as many push-ups as possible, then the best position would be a slightly more narrow hand position so that you can engage more of the stronger muscles that allow you to give you the more power with less effort.

🍚 Is RICE really effective in injury healing?

While it does help with wet phones, it's not always the most efficient way to recover from an injury. Each day/week/month is essential in returning to sport and some exercises may need to be avoided or held off during initial injury, slowly progressing tissue loading to a tolerable extent can help more than just totally immobilizing yourself.

Traditional clinics and modern day, gym based clinics have their differences 🏥

🧑‍⚕️Some of us are looking for the features of a traditional clinic, which tends to promote more of a medical hospital atmosphere, routine treatment structure, and limited plan of care. It's simple, basic, and for some it does work just enough to set you on your way, but likely to come back eventually.

🏋️PT clinics are shifting now towards a gym setting, promoting more of an active environment, open and progressing treatment structure, and plan of cares that evolve to a continuous therapeutic lifestyle.

I think it depends on the patient but me being biased, if I were to walk into a clinic for an injury and I'm told to sit on a bike for 15 minutes to "warm up", I'm not going to want to come back. I believe we as PTs need to use our brains, continually progress exercises and make it fun and specific, and try various treatment techniques to find the best protocol that your patient responds to.

❓Which one looks better to you?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another great 5 star review and success story!!

Google reviews help physical therapists and private practices grow but also spreads the word of success for other future patients searching for the right clinic that fits their needs. It also helps the prevention of settling for a clinic that may not be the right fit.

Plantar Fascia pain with running or other sports? 🦶💥
🥎Can't seem to get it to go away and rolling it with a tennis ball isn't keeping it away?
🏃🏽‍♂️Others saying to stop running and to rest?

Just like any other tissue that gets inflamed, there's a rehab protocol and process to healing and returning to your sport without ruining progress!
