What is a therapist?

Therapists hold a minimum of a master’s degree, have passed a national clinical licensure exam, and have at least two years of post-graduate training to become an independent clinical therapist. Therapists are specifically trained in culturally informed and sensitive practices. They strive to improve the well-being, adjustment, and overall functioning of those struggling with some difficulty in their life.

What is narcissistic abuse?

A type of emotional abuse in which one person tries to exert power and control over another individual(s). It is deeply rooted in tactics of manipulation so that the abuser can get exactly what they want from you. Some tactics that an abuser may use include: love-bombing, disregarding boundaries, nitpicking, gaslighting, and projection. If you have experienced this, I am here to help you heal.
