We don't run one-off programs. We strengthen the people doing the work—through frameworks, tools, convenings, and community.

We’re honored to introudce Dr. Y Falami Devoe ,Secretary of GOC COLLECTIVE INC.
A Womanist healer, educator, poet, and Self-Care Ritualist, Falami’s work centers the thriving, liberation, and holistic wellness of Black women, Black femmes, gender-expansive folks, and Black girls!
Why Dr. Falami’s Presence Matters
Her mission, rooted in decolonized ways of being, ancestral wisdom, and healing justice, mirrors our core beliefs at GOC. In spaces where systems often ask girls and women of color to adapt, prove themselves, or survive, Falami insists on restoration, nourishment, and sacred reclamation.
She creates and holds spaces where:
--Self-care becomes resistance.
--Wellness is political.
--Identity matters as a pathway to liberation
How Our Paths Crossed
We met a few years ago at the National Mentoring Summit. Even then, I felt she was part of the movement we were building. When I finally asked her to join us—she answered the call with intention and heart.
That spirit is exactly what we need as we build a movement.
With Dr. Falami on our board, we are not only growing , we are growing with intention, care, and collective wholeness.

After years of designing, mentoring, and visioning what healing could look like for women and girls of color — I’m proud to share that I created and founded GOC COLLECTIVE INC. 🌿
On December 2, 2025, we officially launch this movement — a nonprofit rooted in connection, healing, empowerment, and wellness. This is my life’s work in motion — and it belongs to every woman and girl who’s ever been told her story didn’t matter.
