On our way home from the new salty bath in Sanibel, I convinced mom and dad to go to Venice to get some....BREAKFAST!

Jennifer was our really nice food giver and she gave me a bowl of water. Huge plus.

The Original Word of Mouth was super cute and had lots of shade for me to not get spicy sunburn on my nose and ears.

Before we get to the food, I just have to say Mom and Dad were so happy when they gave their magic plastic card that they always give the food giver after we eat. They couldn’t even believe whatever was on the paper so it must have been real good!

Dad got a Three Amigos burrito without chorizo or sour cream with home fries on the side. This was the spicy deliciousness that Dad was looking for.

Mom got a plate of veggies and spuds with perfect over easy eggs and a grilled blueberry muffin. Apparently, a grilled muffin was a big deal because Mom got all kinds of excited while she ate it (and she gave me lots, too!)

I took mom and dad on a trip to a different large salty bath two and half hours south of our doghouse. On the way, we were all owners of grumbling bellies so we stopped to get yummy snacks. ⠀

I put on my bow tie and they thought I was handsome so they let us sit at the best table. ⠀
⠀
Although McGregor’s Cafe doesn’t have an Instagram, I hope they see this one day and think back to when they met me. ⠀

Dad got a fish sandwich and it was HUGE. Both dad and I really love lots of food so it was favorite for sure. He loved his sandwich, but made sure I got to eat a lot too. I had to sit every time but I don’t mind playing their silly game to get food. ⠀

Mom got an omelet with cheese and mushrooms. Turns out I love anything inside an egg blanket. Yummmmmm.⠀

Ohhh what a night to remember at Big Storm. ⠀
⠀
First off, let’s cut to the chase. Everybody loved me there. Especially everybody who walked by me. There were other dogs there but nobody was wearing a bow tie like me. ⠀⠀

Mom and Dad went to go get fizzy brown water that makes them happy! This was only the second time I went to go get fizzy brown water with them so it was a big deal. ⠀

Dad got a “flight” which sounds dumb because we never left the ground but that’s okay. He loved all of them but the Bromosa and Cat Three was favorite yummy fizzy brown water. ⠀

Mom got the Tropic Pressure and even though she doesn’t really like fizzy brown water, she kept saying “YUMMMMMMY” after she sipped it. ⠀
⠀
The waiter brought me a fun bowl of water and I think I beat both mom and dad at playing “To the Bottom.” ⠀
⠀
Then came the TWISTY BREAD SNACK! Oh my sweet baby, that thing was good. Mom only let me have one bite before she kept it all for human consumption. 🥨 ⠀

Next time, mom needs to give me less water, more twisty bread snack. ⠀

Soooo...mom gets her skin colored on so she looks like art. She went to go get her art more colored by and he’s real good at using his magic color pen. ⠀

One thing we are never...is early. But we weren’t late so Dad said we could stop for round bread with a hole in it that they were calling “bay ghouls” or something like that. ⠀
⠀
Mom just about screamed when she saw the gorgeous design of the inside. I couldn’t go in but they told me all about it and showed me pictures. ⠀

Mom got a plain round bread with a hole in it with fancy guava cream cheese. ⠀
⠀
Dad got the pecorino round bread with a whole in it with chive cream cheese. ⠀
⠀
They were also vegan which is really cool because I’m an animal and mom and dad don’t eat animals. ⠀
⠀
Everyone loved me and I loved both of the “bay ghouls.”⠀

Even though Mom and Dad love the big doghouse we live in now...they really want to get a doghouse that is closer to the big salty bath tub they call “The Gulf.” ⠀
⠀
So a few days ago, I chose my bow tie and I took them to a new doghouse to see if they want to sleep there and walk to the beach every day and stuff.⠀
⠀
It was nice and the realtor took lots of pictures of me in my bow tie, so I guess I’m a good boy. ⠀
⠀
After that, I took Mom for her favorite...REALLY COLD YUMMY SNACK! 🍦⠀

Haze Ice Cream has always been favorite of Mom since they were down the road. ⠀
⠀
Haze Ice Cream is also now favorite of Breakfast Boy Knox. ⠀

I had my own helping of vanilla really cold yummy snack and it was in a bowl just how I like it. ⠀
⠀
Mom got the chocolate peanut butter cup really cold yummy snack but it was wrapped up in a waffle. I’m not going to tell her what the brown stuff looked like...but she ate all of it really fast and kept saying “YUMMMMMYYYYY” like she always does. ⠀

We didn’t realize how close Haze is to our favorite spot at Madeira Beach so now we will go get really cold yummy snack all the time. ⠀

⁣❤Sweet Brewnette Sunday❤⠀

I’m starting to realize that every seven days or so, my chances of breakfasting with my rescue humans increases dramatically. ⠀
⠀
So, I woke up. Put on my new doughnut straight tie from and we jumped in the giant motorized room that has windows and some random wheel that seems to control it. ⠀
⠀
I took them to Sweet Brewnette. This magic place has been favorite overall. They set up a table right in the shaded patio, and that was the scene for my pets for a few hours. ⠀

We gave Sweet Brewnette the magic plastic card and they gave us food. DELICIOUS FOOD. ⠀
⠀
We got two (not one but ✌🏻) plates of the Veggie Scrambler with the most amazing toasted bread that my oversized tongue has ever tasted. Eggs, spinach, roasted tomatoes, peppers and pineapple on the side! ⠀
⠀
The people sitting next to us were real worried that my humans weren’t giving me food but I gave them “the look” and then I got more. ⠀
⠀
They have coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, baked goods and wonderful local art on the walls by and ⠀
⠀
Even the girls working would come and pet me before they picked up the plates. It was my favorite morning. ⠀
⠀

⁣🌊Surf Shop Dog 🌊⠀

Ummmm...we went on another adventure the other day. I’d like to start out my narrative by confirming that yes, I got a lot of pets while we journeyed to Treasure Island. ⠀
⠀
Mom and Dad talked a lot about “shopping local” and “supporting small business” on this trip. Apparently lots of big stores with fancy things come to the beach and want to try and push people with good hearts away.⠀
⠀
Dumb, I know. ⠀
⠀
Anyways, Suncoast Surf Shop has been in the same building since 1966 and their hearts are as big as mine. They have sun shirts, hats, surf boards, paddleboards, sunglasses, flip flops...THEY HAVE LIKE EVERYTHING. ⠀

Noah, one of the surf dudes that works there really wanted to hug me so I kind of let him. ⠀

Suncoast Surf Shop has just as many fancy things and the big stores but they love me a lot more than the big stores do. I think you can tell a lot from the way that stores treat dogs. ⠀

When mom and dad need stuff for the beach, they go here and always leave like they just sat for 100 treats. ⠀
⠀
I would recommend to anybody who cares about small business and supporting local. Those kinds of people like dogs and you should too. ⠀

We yesterday we went at said hi to my friends at where I got lots of pets and then we went to a long bridge that didn’t go anywhere. ⠀
⠀
Mom and Dad said it was called a “pier” and it was a big deal because it was 26 acres, home to multiple restaurants, lots of little shops and a research center. ⠀
⠀
All I know is that lots of people pet me and I was glad there was a lot of shade outside because it was hot! ⠀
⠀
Overall, their bridge to nowhere was pretty neat. I love that they allow me, so I will allow them! 💙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As you all know by now, I took mom and dad on an adventure yesterday to Craft Kafe. Before we went to get breakfast pie, we had to stop and make me more handsomer. ⠀
⠀
That’s where I met 😍⠀
⠀
Mom wanted two and dad wanted one so they compromised and got both of the ones that make me oh so handsome. One is a rainbow bow tie and the other one has doughnuts (breakfast boy Knox, duhh) and then more people pet me. The ties just velcro to my collar and I’m ready for any occasion. It’s as easy as sitting for a treat ❤⠀

“Three Dogs Bakery was filled with more happy things than my big heart and fat head can handle. Leashes, treats, a full bakery, toys and did I mention treats? ⠀

Mom and Dad WON’T STOP TALKING ABOUT CRAFT KAFE! I’m sick and tired of it!⠀

So today we took a car ride and went to get some breakfast! I have to say, it was Knox Boy approved 😋 ⠀

“I had the pleasure of licking lots of water and getting lots of pets. So the ambiance was exactly what I was looking for. One woman cried when she pet me because of all the love in my body. ⠀
⠀
Oh yeah... back to the food! ⠀
⠀
We got three things, the first being lots of dog treats. Although I’m a picky eater, these organic, homemade, gluten-free treats were absolutely scrumptious. Mom got the tomato spinach feta breakfast pie but they kept calling it “quiche.” Don’t judge them, they are weird sometimes. Dad got the provolone onion potato breakfast pie. Mom and dad kept passing them back and forth and thankfully showed no sign of food aggression. Dad saved the last bite for mom and she was really really happy. Craft Kafe is favorite of Knox Boy.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
