What if breast health wasn’t rooted in fear — but in freedom?
For years, we’ve been taught to approach breast care with anxiety — waiting, worrying, scanning for what might go wrong.

But what if that same energy could be shifted from fear to trust?
The science of epigenetics tells us something powerful: our thoughts and emotions can actually influence how our genes express. In other words, what you focus on — fear or health — can shape your biology at the cellular level.

That’s why I choose to focus on breast health, not breast disease.

Doctors and women still think that estrogen is bad for your breasts and causes cancer.

I have taught for years that "your Physiology affects your Psychology"!!

Dr. Daniel Amen just said something from stage during the 10th annual biohacking conference that made me stand up and cheer:

"Mental Health should be renamed BRAIN HEALTH."

EXACTLY!

I was absolutely clueless about Perimenopause! Once I learned the symptoms and learned more, I realized that I had missed the symptoms and brushed them off for years. I don’t want you to go through this, too. �

For years, I thought something was wrong with me. When I got married at 40, I expected joy and connection—but instead, I found myself confused, in pain, and disconnected from my own body. No one had warned me I was in perimenopause. I wasn’t prepared for the shifts happening beneath the surface.

Back then, I thought I was there was something terrible wrong.. But what I’ve learned since—after decades of healing, hormone work, and listening deeply to my body—is this: I was never broken. My body was asking for support. Gently. Urgently. Intelligently.
Your symptoms aren’t failures. They’re signals. Fatigue, pain, mood changes, painful s*x, brain fog—these aren’t random or shameful. They are your body’s way of saying: “Pay attention. Care for me. Help me heal.”

And the best news? Healing is possible. Whether through rest, nourishment, boundaries, or evidence-based approaches like epigenetic rebalancing or BHRT, there is a path forward. You can feel whole, vibrant, and fully yourself again—at any age.

Ok y'all, I need to rant for a minute.

I've been reading a fabulous book entitled "Rethinking Hypothyroidism" by Dr. Antonio Bianco.
I've know for years that Hypothyroidism is waaaaay more common in women - 5 - 8x more likely than their male counterpoints.

As I read this book and the light is again shone on the incredible disparity in women's health, I am sickened!!
The common, traditional, western medicine approach of treating with synthetic Thyroid medications (Synthroid) does NOT work for most!!!

Integrated solutions and bioidentical solutions do.
Dr. Amy Meyers is a world class leader in Hypothyroidism and has fabulous books and resources. She is the expert behind this petition to STOP the FDA from banning natural thyroid solutions.

New Blog Is Out!

This summer, everything feels beautifully full — from finalizing interviews and speaking engagements, to packing for the Indie Book Awards, to preparing to marry the love of my life in just a few weeks. It’s a season of joy, momentum, and celebration… but also one that calls for intentional margin.

I’ve learned (often the hard way) that even the best seasons can leave us breathless if we don’t protect space to pause. That’s why I’m practicing what I preach: slowing down, unplugging at sunset, and choosing peace over pressure — not because things are falling apart, but because they’re finally coming together.

This week on the blog, I’m sharing a heart-level reflection on this sacred, joy-filled season — and why I’m choosing to guard my energy, nourish my soul, and create quiet space in the middle of it all. I also included practical tools you can use to reclaim rest in your season too — whether you’re in the middle of a breakthrough, burnout, or somewhere in between.

You don’t have to wait for exhaustion to justify rest. You don’t have to reach burnout to rediscover your breath. Your healing, your peace, your margin — they matter now.
