That “I can’t keep up” feeling during the holidays? It’s real!

One moment you’re juggling work, family, and festivities like always — and the next, your habits slip, your energy crashes, and everything feels heavier than it should.

You tell yourself you’re too busy for self-care, but often it’s something deeper: perfectionism, all-or-nothing thinking, and a body in perimenopause that’s begging for consistency, not pressure. I can imagine, if you're in the US, that you're busy preparing for a lovely holiday weekend of family, friends and feasting!
We certainly are. I'm thrilled that we will have a table full of family to join us.

With that said, why on earth would I post a blog on oral health 😉 Well, it's part 2. Part 1 was last week.

and, yes, it's true that everything we eat is impacting our oral health, our microbiome and our hormones. Thus, this may be even more important at this time of year 😉

Have you ever had that moment where your body feels "off," but you can't explain why?

The mood shifts, the stubborn bloating, the tired-but-wired nights… you brush it off, but somewhere inside you know there's more to the story.

I had one of those ah-ha moments recently — and honestly? I can't believe I missed it.
I literally wrote about the Estrobolome in my book Create the Vitality You Crave: Epigenetics 101 to Unlock Your Healing Power... yet I still missed that it all starts in the MOUTH with oral care.

We can take all the probiotics we want. We can eat fermented foods for our gut. But what about our oral microbiome?

For years, we’ve been taught to approach breast care with anxiety — waiting, worrying, scanning for what might go wrong.

But what if that same energy could be shifted from fear to trust?
