If you’ve noticed a little more steadiness lately — even without doing everything “right” — that’s not a coincidence.

Your hormones are responding.

This week’s blog breaks down the biology behind “floors” and why they’re one of the most hormone-supportive things you can do during the holidays.

If you’ve been feeling tired, overstimulated, or out of balance, this will help it make sense.

That “I can’t keep up” feeling during the holidays? It’s real!

One moment you’re juggling work, family, and festivities like always — and the next, your habits slip, your energy crashes, and everything feels heavier than it should.

You tell yourself you’re too busy for self-care, but often it’s something deeper: perfectionism, all-or-nothing thinking, and a body in perimenopause that’s begging for consistency, not pressure. Our nervous systems are shot in this modern era, and the hustle of bustle of the holidays exacerbates it all.

In my newest blog, I share a simple framework I teach my clients (they’ve said is “life changing”) — Floors & Ceilings — to help you stay grounded even on chaotic days. Tiny, doable habits that keep your hormones steady, your nervous system calmer, and your sanity intact.

If you’ve been abandoning routines because you “can’t do the full version,” this one’s for you.

The blog is live now. Click the link below to read — then tell me: Which habit are you setting a floor for this season?

I can imagine, if you're in the US, that you're busy preparing for a lovely holiday weekend of family, friends and feasting!
We certainly are. I'm thrilled that we will have a table full of family to join us.

With that said, why on earth would I post a blog on oral health 😉 Well, it's part 2. Part 1 was last week.

and, yes, it's true that everything we eat is impacting our oral health, our microbiome and our hormones. Thus, this may be even more important at this time of year 😉

Here's a teaser of my blog -

That quiet feeling that something’s not quite right? You’re not imagining it.

Maybe your gums feel more sensitive lately… your breath seems different… or your hormones feel a little “out of rhythm” and you can’t explain why.

Life gets busy. We brush, we rinse, we go.

But sometimes your body whispers before it ever raises its voice — and your mouth is often where those whispers begin.

In my newest blog, I’m sharing the unseen connection between your oral microbiome and your hormones — the way tiny shifts in your mouth can ripple into your gut, your energy, your moods, even your cycle.

It’s the kind of insight that makes you rethink the products sitting on your bathroom counter… and the habits you’ve been told are “normal.” This isn’t about doing more.

It’s about doing what actually supports you — choosing gentler ingredients, nurturing the good bacteria your body depends on, and paying attention to the signals your system is sending.

If you’ve been feeling a little off — not quite yourself, not fully balanced — this is your sign to pause and get curious.
The blog is live.

Have you ever had that moment where your body feels "off," but you can't explain why?

The mood shifts, the stubborn bloating, the tired-but-wired nights… you brush it off, but somewhere inside you know there's more to the story.

I had one of those ah-ha moments recently — and honestly? I can't believe I missed it.
I literally wrote about the Estrobolome in my book Create the Vitality You Crave: Epigenetics 101 to Unlock Your Healing Power... yet I still missed that it all starts in the MOUTH with oral care.

We can take all the probiotics we want. We can eat fermented foods for our gut. But what about our oral microbiome?

Here's what woke me up: As a newlywed these past 4 months, I'd let my oil pulling habit slip. And guess what? I'm back at it — because I finally connected the dots between oral health and hormone balance in a way I hadn't before.

In my newest blog, I'm sharing this surprising connection that almost no one is talking about — the kind of subtle interplay inside your body that can influence your energy, mood, metabolism, and how "like yourself" you feel day to day.

It's something simple, often overlooked, and incredibly empowering once you understand it.

If you've been feeling not-quite-yourself lately, or sensing that something deeper is going on beneath the surface, this is absolutely worth reading.

I imagine, if you watch the news, that you are aware history was made this week! The FDA has removed the Black Box Warning from estrogen therapy — ending decades of fear, misinformation, and unnecessary suffering.

If you’ve been told hormones cause cancer, heart disease, or stroke, you’re not imagining it — that’s what the headlines said. But the truth is different. When used at the right time, with the right hormones, therapy protects your heart, brain, bones, and even your breasts.

This decision is more than a label change. It’s a chance to reclaim your health, energy, and confidence. Your hormones are powerful allies — and paying attention to them could transform your midlife experience.

What if breast health wasn’t rooted in fear — but in freedom?
For years, we’ve been taught to approach breast care with anxiety — waiting, worrying, scanning for what might go wrong.

But what if that same energy could be shifted from fear to trust?
The science of epigenetics tells us something powerful: our thoughts and emotions can actually influence how our genes express. In other words, what you focus on — fear or health — can shape your biology at the cellular level.

That’s why I choose to focus on breast health, not breast disease.

I ask myself: What helps my lymph flow freely? What keeps my hormones balanced? What supports my body’s natural rhythm and resilience?

For over 20 years, I’ve leaned into intuition over fear — nourishing my body, choosing thermography instead of radiation, and exploring innovative, gentle tools like the Auria and QT Imaging.
Because here’s the truth: your body is wise. Your intuition is a form of intelligence. And your energy is one of the most powerful tools for healing you have.

You don’t need to live in fear to care deeply for your health — you just need to start listening to your body’s quiet wisdom.

There is SO much confusion about hormones and breast health!

Much of it is the left over fallout of the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study that was halted in 2002.

Doctors and women still think that estrogen is bad for your breasts and causes cancer.

f you have been following me, your know that my focus is Breast HEALTH not Cancer! My blog this week shares the truth of what is real truth about how estrogens impact your breast health.

This is very important information that the Pink campaign and western medicine is NOT sharing about the root cause of Breast disease.

You have way more power than you think. And, that power starts with education!

Please read it and share with the women you love!!

I have taught for years that "your Physiology affects your Psychology"!!

Dr. Daniel Amen just said something from stage during the 10th annual biohacking conference that made me stand up and cheer:

"Mental Health should be renamed BRAIN HEALTH."

EXACTLY!

Because here's what most people don't realize: when you're dealing with anxiety, depression, brain fog, or memory issues, it's not "all in your head" in the way we've been told.

Your BRAIN is a physical organ that can be impacted by:

Hormonal imbalances
Gut microbiome dysfunction
Inflammation
Parasites
Mold mycotoxins
Nutritional deficiencies

When we address these ROOT CAUSES instead of just masking symptoms, real healing happens. This is the power of functional medicine—we don't just treat your mood, we optimize your BRAIN.

You're not broken. Your brain just needs support.

You don't need a Pill, you need to detox, hydrated, improve your nutrition, reduce stress, clean your air, etc.

If you have mood or "mental health" issues, reach out to a functional health provider and get support to heal your brain. Your brain will thank you!!

So will those that interact with you!!!

Oh how I wish that I had known…

That “something’s off” feeling? It’s real.

One day you’re powering through your day like usual — juggling work, family, and endless to-dos — and the next, you’re wide awake at 3 a.m., snapping at your partner, and wondering where your energy (and patience) went.

You tell yourself it’s just stress. Maybe it is. But what if it’s also something deeper — your body’s way of asking you to slow down, listen, and recalibrate?

In my newest blog, I’m breaking down how stress can show up in surprising ways — fatigue that doesn’t fade, sleep that feels anything but restful, moods that swing for no clear reason — and how to tell when it’s time to pause and reset. Because what feels like “just burnout” might actually be your body’s signal that it needs care, compassion, and breathing room.
We’ll talk about what modern stress really does to your energy, clarity, and sense of self — and the small, steady habits that can help you find your rhythm again.

If you’ve been feeling off lately — tired but wired, foggy but restless — this one’s for you.
The blog is out now. Click the link below to read more — and then tell me: how has stress been showing up for you lately?

I’d love to hear your story.

I was absolutely clueless about Perimenopause! Once I learned the symptoms and learned more, I realized that I had missed the symptoms and brushed them off for years. I don’t want you to go through this, too.
Perimenopause shows up differently for every woman.

For some, it’s the frustrating weight gain that seems to appear overnight. For others, it’s the endless tossing and turning that leaves you exhausted no matter how early you go to bed. And then there are the unpredictable mood shifts or that stubborn brain fog that makes you feel like you’re not yourself.

None of this is “all in your head”—it’s your body navigating a powerful hormonal transition. And talking about it openly is the first step to finding support and solutions that truly help.

So let’s get real: which symptom has been the hardest for you—weight gain, sleep issues, mood changes, or brain fog?

Comment down below and let’s start a conversation that matters.

And, read my latest blog that shares important differences between Perimenopause and Menopause that you should be aware of.
