What would it mean to be held instead of holding it all together?

So often, energy is spent holding—holding expectations, emotions, responsibilities… even the breath. There’s a quiet tension in always needing to keep it all together.

But there’s also a quiet power in releasing.

To be held is to trust the ground beneath us. To let the exhale be just as full as the inhale. To soften into support—whether it comes from breath, community, or simply the present moment.

On the mat, it might look like melting into Child’s Pose or letting the body rest fully in Savasana. Off the mat, it might be saying “I don’t have to carry this alone.”

Let this be the reminder: strength isn’t always in the holding. Sometimes, it lives in the letting go.🌸
