We also teach CEU Courses for Massage Therapists, Nurses and General public for Self-Healing! Jeff McConnell is a Board Certified, licensed acupuncture physician who is dedicated to assisting his patients in achieving and maintaining their optimal health and well being, of body, mind, and spirit. He is also a licensed massage therapist with 25 years of experience. At his clinic he offers a variety of modalities from both East and West. Among these are acupuncture, massage therapy, assisted stretching, Shiatsu, Reiki, and Chinese cupping. Homeopathic remedies, medicinal herbs, and detoxification formulas are also used. Programs are available to help break addictions and to promote homeostasis and well being. Dr. Jeff attended the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. In December of 2005, he graduated with a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences. In January of 2006, he traveled to Bejing, China for advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine at China’s top army hospital. Since 1996, Dr. Jeff has been a continuing education provider. Summer Season is Preheated and is fully Cooking!🌞
Us here hope you have been staying hydrated and full of seasonal Fire and Life.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory, the summer season corresponds to the 🔥FIRE🔥 element.
This element is regulated by the Yin-Yang☯️ organ pair of the Heart and Small Intestine, which are associated with the emotion of joy☺️, the bitter taste, and the color red❤️🔥.
Summer is a period characterized by heightened yang energy, warmth, expansion, and outward movement. To align with the energy of this season, TCM advises engaging in activities that encourage circulation and emotional well-being, such as Qi Gong, yoga, swimming, or spending time outdoors. Consuming cooling and heart-healthy foods, as well as cultivating positive emotions, are also considered essential for maintaining wellness during the summer months in TCM.
This summer, a new deal is available in addition to the regular specials.
‘Austin’s Summer Shiatsu Special’ is a combo package that includes:
• An intake session and a complimentary AcuGraph reading with Dr. Jeff and Austin. This evaluation examines the body's 12 meridian functions, identifies imbalances, and provides suggestions for realignment through acupuncture points and lifestyle recommendations. A colored printout of the results is included (valued at $50).
• Clients will then select either a 2-session or 4-session pack of Shiatsu (acupressure massage along the meridians, needle-free) with Austin. These sessions are designed to address any imbalances identified during the AcuGraph evaluation, as well as concerns raised during the intake process.

As the longest day of the year & summer encroaches, we at the clinic have felt the call to share some of the healing warmth we offer, with the community!
So join us on the evening of the Summer Solstice, June 20th, from 7pm - ~8pm+ for a evening of sharing this Intelligent Life Qi we know and practice as Reiki.
No reiki experience or base Attunements needed to join as this will be for all levels of practice and walks of life!
Dr Jeff will first lightly go over the practice of reiki and how with intent, even one without attunements can send the energy, then we will dive into the reiki sharing circles for the rest of the evening 🕉

Jeff McConnell is a Board Certified, licensed acupuncture physician (AP2231) who is dedicated to assisting his patients in achieving and maintaining their optimal health and well-being, of body, mind, and spirit. He is also a licensed massage therapist (MA9200) with 30 years of experience. Dr. Jeff has developed an approach to healing that blends both Western and Eastern views of the structure and function of the body and mind. His teaching experience has provided him with a greater understanding of our amazing bio-electric body to more effectively treat his patients and to educate them on how they can assist him and their body into achieving and maintaining a high level of health and performance.
Dr. Jeff attended the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. Dr. McConnell is an Adjunct Faculty at Everglades University in Tampa in their Alternative Medicine Program. He was a teacher at the Suncoast School of Massage Therapy in Tampa for twenty years.
