I’ve been thinking a lot about resilience lately, and how differently it shows up now.
For so many of us, resilience used to mean pushing through exhaustion and ignoring what our bodies were asking for. I see this often in the women I work with… and I’ve lived it myself.
As we move into 2026, I believe resilience looks softer and more intentional.
It’s listening sooner.
Setting boundaries.
Asking for support before burnout takes over.
Resilience isn’t about never struggling, it’s about learning how to recover and keep going without losing yourself.
✨ I’m curious; what helps you bounce back when life feels heavy?
Share your resilience tip below. Someone else may really need it today

If you’ve been in therapy for 2+ years and catching yourself thinking…
“Shouldn’t I be done by now?” 👀
You’re not the only one. And no, you’re not failing.
I hear this question all the time from high-achieving women in the “messy middle” of life: juggling career, relationships, motherhood, big goals… and trying to hold it all together. And here’s the truth:
Long-term therapy can be completely normal, especially when you’re not just trying to “get through it,” but actually building a life that feels steady, aligned, and sustainable
And if therapy is helping you deepen self-awareness, strengthen boundaries, improve relationships, and stay grounded through change… that’s not “too long.” That’s commitment to your wellbeing.
At Inherent Strength, our goal is never to keep you in therapy indefinitely. It’s to help you build the tools, confidence, and clarity to thrive, with support that evolves as you do through our hybrid approach of therapy + coaching. 💛

Hi, I'm Victoria. I was born and raised in Florida with over 10 years of providing case management and counseling services. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I am also a Qualified Clinical Supervisor. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at the University of South Florida and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Tampa.
Growing up I was actively involved in multiple sports, competing at the national level in Gymnastics. At 16 years old, along with winning nationals I underwent my third major injury. At that point I knew I had to stop, the risk was no longer worth the reward. Through personal experience and clinical training I've seen first hand how intertwined our physical and mental health is. When one is not working to its best ability the other will start to fail. I strongly believe in our power to overcome obstacles and to reach our goals whether those obstacles are physical or mental they can be overcome.
I started my career working in the community as case manager and therapist working with children, teens and their families as well as individuals and couples. I have also worked within management, health insurance and recruiting arenas within the medical field. Ultimately my passion is people and the innate strength and resiliency within us. Through a collaborative counseling and coaching process people can do amazing things they never thought possible.
I decided to enter private practice after I found myself feeling weighed down by the things in my life and mind that didn’t make me happy. From working long hours, being inactive, not finding time or the ability to do the things that I enjoyed. Spending time with loved ones, family, friends, animals and taking care of ourselves are just a few of the things that in today's busy world we can't seem to find time for, yet these are also the things that we work so hard for. Together, let's take the first step towards improving your life. Call me or schedule online today!
I am trained in multiple counseling models including, but not limited to Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing and Co-Occurring Disorders and Addictions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT).
