Plantar fasciitis is an inflammatory condition of the plantar fascia which is a thick, fibrous ligament that runs along the bottom of the foot and connects the heel to the front of the foot. Someone with plantar fasciitis will experience intense pain at the bottom of their heel; in some cases, pain can radiate up the leg causing discomfort in the ankle and calf. Dr. Eisenman treats the pain and the pain source…..he does not prescribe pharmaceuticals “to deal with” the with it. Chronic pain is long standing pain that persists beyond the usual recovery period or occurs along with a chronic health condition, such as arthritis. Chronic pain may be "on" and "off" or continuous.

Our Story

We offer holistic care in Miami Beach, including acupuncture, massage, Chinese herbal medicine, and functional medicine. We treat conditions that may interfere with your daily life, such as chronic pain, injuries, stress and anxiety, infertility, headaches and TMD/TMJ.

We listen to our patients so we can find those important details that help us solve their health concerns. We started our holistic healthcare practice in 2010 with the vision of creating a place where patients can be treated in an unhurried way that allows us to find and address the underlying causes of disease or injury. Chinese medicine is the ultimate holistic medical system that takes the whole person into account--stress and lifestyle, habits, nutrition, and health history. Combining this with cutting-edge functional medicine testing, we are able to devise treatment plans that really work and are personalized for you.

We are two acupuncture physicians with the philosophy of “patients first.” Our practice is dedicated to the aim of helping you feel at home while you get great holistic care. You might be greeted by Abby, Dr. Eisenman’s golden retriever. Patients often comment on her sweet nature and calm disposition. We work hard, and we believe in living a balanced life. Well, that’s easy to do in beautiful Miami Beach. We are both avid standup paddle boarders and enjoy paddling out on Biscayne Bay early in the morning.
