This month, we’re proud to highlight Julie Stob , our PHP Therapist at Real Recovery New Port Richey. Julie has gone above and beyond as our NPR program continues to grow and thrive.
“I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in addiction services, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and advocacy for underrepresented populations. I am also a person in long-term recovery with 11 years of continuous sobriety.
My passion for helping others began shortly after completing my 4th and 5th Steps with my sponsor over a decade ago. The compassion, empathy, and support I experienced were life-changing. I had an awakening of the spirit and knew I wanted others to feel that same unconditional love and freedom. That purpose still drives me today as I walk with others through the darkness of addiction toward recovery.”
Julie’s dedication extends beyond her role as a therapist — it’s deeply personal.
“I am deeply passionate about Real Recovery Solutions because I’ve seen firsthand the heart behind this organization. My husband has dedicated his life to this work, and I know what this company stands for: quality, service, genuine recovery, and unwavering support for clients and staff alike. I love what I do. Watching the light come on in those we help is a miracle I never want to miss.”
Julie brings exceptional skill and heart to her work, drawing from both professional training and lived experience. She holds a Master’s in Counseling with National Honors (4.0 GPA), is trained in EMDR, licensed in Mental Health Counseling, and nationally certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist.
