During the month of March, St. Anthony's Hospital has been lit in blue for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Discussing colorectal cancer can be difficult but a busy priest in Tampa is hoping that by sharing his story, it will encourage others to get the recommended screening. We recently had a visit from City of St. Petersburg, Florida Councilman Copley Gerdes to discuss St. Anthony's construction programs and lessons we've learned from the 2024 hurricanes that have helped us plan for future storms. We toured everything including our generators. And we enjoyed hearing what the hospital has meant to him and his family over the years.

Our team members are enjoying St. Patrick's Day in so many ways. Several stopped by the cafeteria to take a quick photo with our Leprechaun and his pot of gold. Charles, a member of our safety and security team, hid tiny ducks throughout the hospital for anyone to find for a bit of luck. Paula, a member of our rehab services team, has enjoyed a day at the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade. And the BayCare Carillon HealthHub reahb services team also had a visit from a leprechaun who gave away a few special ducks of his own. Here's hoping everyone has a safe and happy !
