Today, we honor the Veterans whose service and sacrifice have helped shape the communities we live in. Their commitment reminds us of the responsibility we all share to build places where every neighbor is valued, supported, and seen.

Fusion 49th District stands on the belief that strong communities are built through collaboration, respect, and collective care — values our Veterans have demonstrated in the highest form.

To all who have served, and to the families who have stood beside them, we thank you. Your leadership continues to inspire the work we do every day to bridge communities and create opportunity across the 49th Corridor.

Yesterday’s Fusion 49th District Food Tent Vendor Wars was a success, and we have a CHAMPION!

Please join us in congratulating MICHAEL WHITING of WHITING BBQ — the winner of this year’s title and prize!

Your flavors, presentation, and hospitality showed out. The community voted, the plates were empty, and the crown is yours.

Yesterday at Trolley Market Square was a great day for the Fusion 49th District.
Our community showed up, supported one another, connected, and celebrated together — exactly the purpose behind this work.

Thank you to Saturday Shoppes for partnering with us to bring this vision to life, and thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, cooked, served, sponsored, or simply came to be present. Your involvement and energy make the difference.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our meeting! We had an excellent discussion covering:

🚍 PSTA Route Changes & Updates
👮 Community Updates from St. Petersburg Police Department – Officer Bletsch

🏪 Introduction of the new Fusion 49th Business Logos for business owners along the corridor to proudly display in their locations

We are excited to continue strengthening our corridor identity, visibility, and unity.

Please Note:
There will be NO monthly meetings in December or January to allow space for the holiday season and planning for the new year.
Our next meeting will be Monday, February 2, 2026. Mark your calendars!

Are you ready to refresh your wardrobe, meet some great people, and give new life to your once-loved clothes? This is your chance! 💫

✅ Free event! (Suggested $5 donation if you can swing it — every bit helps 💚)

✅ No charge for any clothes you leave with

✅ You don’t have to bring anything to participate — just come vibe with us!

Please drop off your clothing donations in advance if you can, and be sure to check out the discussion posts on the event page for FAQs, rideshare options, and updates. 🚗💬

This is a repeat event, so leftover donations will be stored for next time, and any overflow will be donated to CASA or programs supporting the unhoused community.🕊️
