Locust Pose:

-Squeeze shoulder blades together
-May lift arms
-May lift legs
-Keep gaze downward
-Breathe

Important to strengthen the back muscles,
Especially in yoga where most upper body strength is in the chest

Create that balance, back to front
Keep that ❤ open

Seated Twist:

Inhale: Lengthen spine
Exhale: Relax into twist

-Relax hips, squeeze shoulder blades together
-Feel the breath expanding and massaging internal organs

Plank to Upward Dog:

Inhale: Move hips towards wrists

-Keep spine long while backbending
-Lift chest, pressing hands firmly into ground, fingers spread wide
-Grow your head up out of your shoulders as shoulders press down
-Maintain breath here, exit on exhale

Modification:
-Use fists on the ground, thumbs facing top of space, knuckles facing each other

Exit: Lift hips, drop knees
Counter with Child's Pose
