A Final Thank You...
As we close the doors of The Optical Shop, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank every patient, family, and friend who has walked through our doors over the years. This place has been more than just an optical—it has been a community, a family, and a home for so many meaningful moments.
For decades, The Optical Shop has been a part of people’s lives in ways that go far beyond eyewear. We have watched children grow up, welcomed new families to the area, shared in celebrations, and supported one another through difficult times.
Many of you knew and loved Dr. Smith, and it has meant the world to continue his legacy here on the second floor of the Suncoast Medical Building. Your continued trust and kindness—especially over this past year—have carried me and our entire team through this transition. Your support kept The Optical Shop strong, and your loyalty reminded us daily why this work matters so much.
While this chapter is coming to an end, I hope you know how deeply grateful I am for each of you. Thank you for your patience, your smiles, your stories, and the relationships we’ve built. You have brought meaning and purpose to every day I spent here, and I will carry those memories with me always.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives for so many years. It has been a privilege and a joy to serve you.
