Meet our newest member of the team, Mandi Rogers!
“I have a passion for helping individuals and couples create meaningful, lasting change. My path here wasn’t linear—it took me from newsrooms to TV sets to a few different continents—but each stop taught me something about people, connection, and the stories that shape us. Born in the Midwest and raised in China, I learned early that empathy crosses every cultural line. After earning my degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and working in television production in Los Angeles, I realized my true calling wasn’t just telling stories—it was helping people rewrite their own. Now back in Florida, I work with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and the wild ride of parenting. Outside the office, you’ll find me running, hiking, exploring new restaurants, or putting my many memberships (Tampa Zoo, Florida Aquarium, Ananda Farms—to name a few) to good use. I’m a fan of Lagree fitness, comedy shows, true crime, and chocolate—and happiest anywhere with ocean air or mountain views. Above all, my children are my greatest teachers and daily reminder of what truly matters.”
More about Mandi:
What are your favorite books about the mind/therapy? It’s tough to narrow it down, but my current top three are Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb, Good Morning, Monster by Catherine Gildiner, and How Does That Make You Feel? by Joshua Fletcher. I love these books because they’re insightful and thought-provoking while still feeling accessible and deeply human—engaging reads that explore the mind and therapy without getting overly clinical.
When you feel overwhelmed, what's your go-to tool? Walking. There’s something incredibly therapeutic about getting outside and moving while taking in fresh air—it’s an immediate tool I can always rely on. What makes walking even better is its versatility: I might catch up with a loved one on the phone, listen to music or an audiobook, or simply focus on my breath and be present in the moment.
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party? Adam Sandler. His humor is goofy and approachable, while his energy feels authentic—I’d trust him to make the evening fun without ever feeling intimidated.
What's your favorite pre-session snack? Peanut butter M&M’s for when I need a little pick-me-up, and Brad’s Everything Zucchini Flats for when I’m trying to be “good.” Balance, right?
