One of my current, personal, projects is going through old photos to send to families that would be most interested. For example, a picture of my great aunt, Pearl, will be off no sentimental value to my children. Her descendants, however, will appreciate it more than mine. So I’ll send it to them. Are you in the same position of having tons of photos with little to no sentimental value to you? Let me know and perhaps I can help you send them to family!

I love the little things you find when going through family albums. They also give clues!

“Why is my brother’s DNA result so different from mine?” A common question. A gentleman named Jon Prain made this great chart to demonstrate how this can happen! Keep in mind, each parent provides half the dna for a child, but it’s not always the same half! Note that neither the first nor the fourth child have any DNA from the second great-grandparent (in white!)

Have you done a genetic DNA test? Which one did you choose? And if you haven’t, why not?
I’m finally digging into my DNA results to see if I can find the ancestors of my GG Grandfather, Andrew DeMorris! Which me luck!
