When the pectoralis muscles — especially the pectoralis minor — become tight, they:
• Pull the shoulders forward and down
• Create rounded posture
• Increase strain on the neck, upper traps, and shoulders
• Can contribute to neck tension, headaches, and nerve irritation

✨ Stretching the chest helps the neck relax by improving posture and reducing constant muscular pull.

👉 This is why chest stretching is often included in treatment for neck pain — not just neck work alone.
