Meet Victoria (Tori) Gibson!

Tori is an Occupational Therapist with Children's Therapy Support who provides services for schools in southeast Missouri. She is newly enrolled with Missouri First Steps and looks forward to serving families in the community. She is a Jackson, MO, native and now resides in Cape Girardeau County after living on the East Coast for seven years. She graduated with her Master's degree from Washington University School of Medicine in 2011.

Prior to joining CTS, Tori worked in the medical field with adults and older adults. She has also served full time in academia as a professor, lab instructor, Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, and Interim Program Director for an OTA Program.

After having a child and being a stay at home/work from home mom for nearly two years, Tori felt called to join the pediatric setting. She loves working with students and discovering what uniquely motivates each child.

When Tori is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two bonus children on their one-acre farm. They have six chickens, a bunny, a cat, a dog, and even an axolotl.

Meet Olivia Gaidas!

Olivia is an Occupational Therapist with CTS who provides services for Missouri First Steps in the St. Louis region. She graduated in 2024 from Saint Louis University with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a minor in Spanish. Olivia is passionate about supporting children and families across diverse social and cultural backgrounds.

She is committed to promoting independence through child-led, strengths-based therapeutic approaches and believes in meeting each child and family where they are. Olivia values collaboration and works closely with families as a team to support meaningful, family-centered goals.

One of Olivia’s favorite aspects of First Steps is the opportunity to observe and interact with children in their natural environments.

Outside of her clinical role, Olivia enjoys practicing yoga, trail running, taking photos of her dog, Phoebe, and spending quality time with friends and family. Originally from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, she now lives in Tower Grove, where she enjoys connecting with her community through nature and exercise.

Olivia is excited to continue growing her skill set and building meaningful relationships through First Steps!

Meet Sara Fisher!

Sara is an Occupational Therapist with CTS who provides services for the Missouri School for the Severely Disabled. Sara is originally from and proud to be back in Sikeston MO serving the community she grew up in. Sara loves working in pediatrics! She said it is a joy getting to play a role in helping kids/their families achieve new skills and possibilities. Other settings she has worked as an OT are adult acute care and inpatient rehab, adult and pediatric outpatient and early intervention.

In Sara’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with family (husband, 2 kids and 2 fur babies) and baking!

We are blessed to have Sara with us!
