In folklore, Baba Yaga doesn’t devour the innocent or the vulnerable — she devours corruption. She tests integrity, punishes cruelty, and protects those who act with truth. That’s not extremism .. that’s ancestral justice.

In the old tales, Baba Yaga does not harm randomly. She:
• devours the deceitful, arrogant, abusive, or spiritually lazy
• tests the heart, not the aesthetics
• punishes those who violate boundaries, hospitality, or moral order
• protects children, the innocent, and the clever when they act with integrity

In Vasilisa the Beautiful, Baba Yaga doesn’t eat Vasilisa she destroys the stepmother and stepsisters, who were abusive and cruel. That’s not modern projection. That’s the story.

Lately I’ve been incredibly busy... in the best possible way!
Readings back to back.
Decks selling out. ✨️
Tools and perfumes moving faster than i can restock.
Days full, calendar packed, energy well spent.

I’m deeply grateful for everyone who’s shown up, booked, purchased, trusted, and supported my work. Because of that ✨️abundance✨️ I GET TO aaannnddd I’m choosing to step back for a few weeks not from lack, but from overflow to rest, refine, and focus on projects I’ve been quietly building behind the scenes.
January is always a threshold for me. A time to recalibrate, sharpen my vision, and move forward with intention instead of urgency.
I’m proud of what I’ve built. I’m grateful for this community. And I’m excited for what’s coming next.
Thank you for being here.
I’ll see you soon. ✨

Vending with Who Would Want That 🕯️

🔮Some of the ways I read aren’t modern, intuitive, or trend-based.

They come from my lineage... methods passed through my ancestors where reading wasn’t mystical performance, but practical sight. Fate, patterns, warning, timing. What is moving toward you, and what must be faced before it does.

This style of reading is direct.
And it was never meant for everyone.

I was taught to read this way quietly, privately, and with respect for the weight it carries. I’ve held it back not because I couldn’t do it, but because not everything ancestral is meant to be offered casually.

This weekend at Market for the Strange, I’ll be offering limited Romani-style readings in person.

Availability will be limited, and offered by discretion.

🔮December 21st — the Winter Solstice.
The longest night, and the point where the light begins its return.

Traditionally, this is a time for reflection... facing what’s been carried through the dark and deciding what doesn’t come forward with you.

That’s why I’ll be offering in-depth shadow readings at Market For The Strange
This work is meant for clarity, not comfort.

I’ll also be offering Romani-style readings... direct, grounded, and focused on fate, patterns, and choices.

If you’re ready to sit with what’s real, this is for you.

This is my Black Tea Séance altar & room spray.
Not officially released yet because the power’s been out and I haven’t made labels 🙃
BUT she exists, she’s made, and I’ll be selling her this weekend at MFTS.
Candlelight crafting only over here.

It smells like black tea, smoke, wood, and stillness.
Perfect for altars, rooms, and late-night rituals.

In old folk belief, wind isn’t chaos it’s movement.
It clears what’s stagnant, rattles what’s weak, and forces stillness afterward.
Wind strips, uproots, and exposes especially what has been sitting too long.
It’s the breath before change, the force that refuses stagnation.

When power goes out, so does the illusion of control.
We’re reminded to slow down, tend fires, feed bodies, and check on each other.
Power outages force us back into older rhythms.

Light candles. Eat warm food. Speak softly.
The calm always follows the wind.

New TikTok witches keep saying blowing out your candle “scatters the ritual,” … be fur real

Air doesn’t scatter magic
AIR is magic.
It’s one of the four classical elements used to send intention, release energy, and close rituals.
If your spell collapses because of a puff of air, your intention wasn’t strong to begin with.

Breath has always been sacred.
Ancient cultures treated breath as an offering:
• Egyptians → ka (life force) used breath to empower rites
• Greeks → pneuma (divine spirit breath)
• Hebrews → ruach (breath offered in prayer)
• Slavic folk magic → blowing over herbs, ashes, knots to activate or seal charms
Breath was never seen as “bad.” It was power.

Old witches DID blow out flames.
European folk witches snuffed candles, blew out embers, and ended rites with breath or water.
Closing a flame = closing the spell.
No one said it ruins anything.
