Thank you to our staff and families for your generous donations to our November Food Drive! We collected 5 full boxes of nonperishable food items that were given to the Salem Food Pantry! Every Wednesday, the Food Pantry has a truck at Salem Council on Aging where seniors can get free food, we are very happy to support and feed our local community! Happy Thanksgiving!

Today at Brookhouse, we met with Sara A. Stanley, Esq. the Executive Director of HAWC (Healing Abuse Working for Change). On October 3rd, 2025, Brookhouse raised $300 for this incredible organization with the sales from our Autumn Bake Sale. Sara came to meet with our residents to explain the importance of HAWC and how their organization supports not only women, but all survivors of abuse within the Salem and North Shore community. She also helped us understand how our donation will directly uplift someone in need. Thank you, Sara, for your amazing work helping domestic abuse survivors find assistance and support. Thank you to our Chef Dennis Cox for preparing all our baked goods along with Chef Mandi & Amy. Thank you to the ladies of Brookhouse for being involved in our community and for participating in our bake sale, without whom this would not have been possible. We look forward to our new partnership with HAWC in the new year. Happy Thanksgiving!

In the spirit of giving and the excitement of the holiday season, we are giving turkeys to all employees again this year so they may enjoy with their own families. Brookhouse is a wonderful home because of every single employee who give their all for our senior ladies residing here.
