Lower Blepharoplasty with fat grafting to the mid face

My fantastic 48 year old patient was bothered by his under eye bags. He felt they made him appear tired and older. Here is us one year out from a bilateral lower Blepharoplasty with fat grafting to the midface. He also underwent three sessions of Morpheus 8 of the face for additional rejuvenation. This is a great example of how procedures can compliment each other to improve overall outcome.

B & A: Implant based breast reconstruction

My amazing 36 year old patient underwent ni**le sparing mastectomies with a staged reconstruction using tissue expanders that I removed and replaced with implants. This is two months after her second stage of reconstruction.

Breast reconstruction options vary extensively depending on the patient, their situation, and desired outcomes. For this patient, a two staged reconstruction fit her needs and her desired outcome of larger reconstructed breasts.

B & A: Liposuction with Renuvion of the neck and submentum

This is my lovely 53 year old patient one year out from liposuction with Renuvion of the neck and submentum.

In the right patient, this can be an in-office procedure with minimal post operative downtime. Full results are seen 9-12 months post operatively. There are three small incisions, one below the chin and one behind each ear, that measure less than half a centimeter each. On top of the minimal scar burden with fantastic results, Renuvion is currently the only FDA approved modality for use after liposuction. Renuvion tightens both immediately and through the months after your procedure with induction of your body’s collagen production. It can be used throughout the body including the neck/submentum, arms, back/flanks, abdomen, and legs.

Here’s some quick details about Botox but feel free to reach out if you have any questions or to clarify if it might be for you:

💉What you can treat: soften fine lines and wrinkles throughout the face including the forehead, brow, glabella (between the eyebrows), and around the eyes and mouth. It can even transform your smile (with either a gummy smile treatment or lip flip)
👩‍⚕️Useful for: Restore youthfulness while softening wrinkles
⏳How long it lasts: 3-4 months, sometimes longer if you have treatments often
⛔️ If possible, 1-2 weeks before treatment avoid all blood thinning products including Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aleve, Vit E, fish oil, etc. Also, patients with any neuromuscular disorders should not undergo the treatment.
⏰ Length of appointment: ~1 hour depending on treated area(s)

👩‍⚕️Useful for: Areas of stubborn fat and overall tightening. Liposuction addresses areas of fat deposition to help create contour and definition. It is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle, but it can be used to target your stubborn areas that won’t respond to diet and exercise. Adding Renuvion tightens the tissue and maximizes results like our patient’s here! Renuvion is a powerful tool for skin and soft tissue tightening. Introducing Morpheus8!

👩‍⚕️Useful for: Addressing fine lines and wrinkles, laxity, stretch marks, scars, general skin tone and to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
⏳Number of Treatments Needed and Results: The number of treatments depends on your goals and area being treated. For example, for face and neck we typically recommend starting with three sessions spread four to six weeks apart. It has permanent and lasting results with collagen formation. Like any rejuvenation procedure, it requires upkeep and we usually recommend treatment once per year after your initial session(s).
⛔️ Before your visit: Avoid nsaids and all blood thinning products the week before treatment (includes things like Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aleve, Vit E, fish oil, etc.). This helps minimize any bruising.
When you come, make sure to have completely clean skin (no makeup, lotions etc.). Since microneedling is used, anything on top of the skin has to be completely cleaned prior to your procedure.
⏰ Length of appointment: This depends on the areas to be treated, but anywhere from 1.5-2.5 hours
😳 Treatment Pain and Recovery: It’s a fairly comfortable treatment overall as we use topical numbing and, depending on the area, sometimes an injectable numbing. Afterwards, there can be some bruising and erythema (reddening of the skin). Plan for downtime of around 1-3 days after your session. You will need to avoid makeup or topical products for around for 24 hours after the procedure.

Ever wondered if fillers and Botox might be for you? Here’s the breakdown:

💉Treatment: cheeks, pyriform, nasolabial folds, lip, marionette lines and chin with Juvederm voluma, volbella, and vollure filler in appropriate areas. Botox was used to treat the full face and masseters (to reduce symptoms of teeth grinding/clenching)
👩‍⚕️Useful for: Enhance or restore lost volume and youthful contour while softening wrinkles. Botox in the masseters helps reduce clenching or symptoms of grinding. It can also slim the appearance of the face.
💉Products: Juvederm voluma, vollure, and volbella which are hyaluronic acid fillers and Botox for rhytids (wrinkles)
⏳How long it lasts: 6-12 months for the filler and 3-4 months for Botox
⛔️ Before your visit: no dental visits, antibiotics, or vaccines 2 weeks before & 2 weeks after injections. Avoid all blood thinning products (with your doctor’s clearance!) 2 weeks before injections including Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aleve, Vit E, fish oil, etc.
⏰ Length of appointment: 1.5 hours
😊Recovery: bruising, swelling, plan for two weeks before any events (around three weeks is the ideal)
