This holiday season is a little heavier for me. Yesterday, I lost my mom.

I wanted to share something close to my heart and explain where my business name Up A Daisy Cleaning truly came from.

Growing up, every Saturday morning my mom would wake us up by revving the vacuum into our rooms saying,
“UP A DAISYYY! Up, up, and away like a beautiful ballooooon!”
Being woken up to “Up a Daisy” over and over really stuck with me — and years later, it became the name of my business.

My mom cleaned homes for many years, I often went with her to help with little tasks . She took pride in keeping things tidy, welcoming, and cared for. That work ethic, that attention to detail, and that love for taking care of others’ spaces — that’s where I get it. She shaped me into the woman I am today and gave me the exact traits that built this business.

Every clean I do carries a piece of her with it.

🎄✨ Holiday Update! ✨🎄

Y’all have officially booked me solid until February — seriously, I’m over here cleaning 3–4 houses/offices a day like Santa’s little scrubbin’ elf 🧑🏻‍🎄🧼

So for now, I’m not taking on new recurring residential clients… BUT I do have room for ONE more commercial client if a business wants to sparkle for the new year!🎉

From move-out/move-in cleans, seasonal camp clients, and estate cleanouts, to caring for my amazing regulars and tackling new commercial spaces — I’ve stepped into so many new territories this season, and I’m feeling beyond blessed! 💪🏽✨

I’m currently fully booked for residential cleanings, but I’m opening up space for new commercial accounts for September start dates!

Knocked it out of the park—literally!
I had the pleasure of cleaning up the little league snack shack in Cambridge , just in time for the season to swing into full gear!

This wasn’t just any job—it was about giving back to the community that rallies around its littlest sluggers. From wiping down counters and scrubbing the freezers to removing the winters cobwebs and getting the concession area game-day ready, I made sure everything is sanitary, and fresh for the families and volunteers who make game day possible.

Huge shoutout to the organizers who trusted myself with the space—thank you for all you do for the kids and this great community!

Here’s to a great season filled with home runs, happy messes, and plenty of snacks!
