Mikki Trowbridge Yoga Yoga adventures, events, inspirations and teachings - both on and off the mat! http://www.MikkiYoga.com

An Oregon yoga and SUP yoga teacher and creator of Yoga + Beer pairings, Mikki Trowbridge aspires to both inform and inspire. She is known for her anatomically informed and soulfully inspired yoga classes that promise to be a little nerdy, but always fun, flowing (often a little sweaty) and accompanied by phenomenal playlists. Her style creates space for yogis to be challenged and to grow their practice, but also to find ease, confidence, laughter and yogi friends. And as an inversion and arm balance addict herself, you can always expect to spend some part of class with Mikki at least considering the idea of going upside down. Mikki has been teaching in Salem, Oregon for over 6 years with studio classes at Indigo Wellness Center and Yoga Studio, along with private classes at Oregon State Hospital and a variety of local gyms, businesses and organizations. She also hosts regular Yoga + Beer events at Oregon breweries and offers StandUp Paddle Board Yoga classes in Pacific City, Oregon during the summer months.

My hope for you this week is that you find at least one moment in each day that reminds you of your inner purpose. Not just why you’re here in this moment, but why you’re here on this planet, in this body, in this life.

May that purpose guide you and provide clarity this week. 🙏🏼

Each of our retreats feels distinct. A piece of that is the country, the culture, the energy and history of the land we immerse ourselves in. And a piece of it is the people who join us on retreat. This one was extra special because of this incredible group of humans. Thank you to each of you who joined us 🙏🏼

From Antigua walks, to De la Gente farm visits, a traditional Mayan fire ceremony, and around the clock views of Fuego eruptions. Our incredibly special service day with Vamos Adelante, and the beautiful setting for yoga, slowing down and recharging at earthlodgeguatemala. What a beautiful week spent together in practice, presence, and connection.

Thanks to Ingrid for your tireless effort to share your home with us and make it a good experience for all.

All my gratitude to Earth Lodge and your team for nourishing and nurturing us.

And thanks to The Village Experience for not just making all of our travel dreams come true around the world, but for doing it with great care for the communities who welcome us in ❤️

I’m excited to launch a new class this Sunday at Resonance Yoga Collective. A Sunday evening space to pause and find peace before stepping into the week. It’s formatted to give you exactly what you need to cap off your weekend.

Asana + Meditation + Pranayama.
Come for it all, or just what you need.

We begin from 4pm-5pm with movement and asana. An all-levels flow class to ground us into our bodies.

At 5pm we will pause to reset and transition. Settling into meditation and pranayama from 5:05-5:35.

Come for both, or just for one piece of the practice. Join me in studio, or from the comfort of your home.

4pm practice is typical sliding scale pricing ($5-$20). Meditation/pranayama is my gift to you.

This class will be weekly through the fall and winter. Hope to have you join us.

Home. Back with my little Samson, and all of the minutiae of life that makes in meaningful and grounding. I’m looking forward to being back in community with you all, back in practice.

Come see me Tuesday at Resonance Yoga Collective for Noon or 6pm.

I then head off to lead our yogaandbeer retreat in Hood River next weekend, and returning next week to settle into my weekly schedule until mid-October.

Tuesdays at Noon & 6pm
Thursdays a Noon & 6pm

And then beginning on Sunday, September 28th, I’m added a little sanctuary to your Sunday evenings. 4-5pm all-levels practice, followed by 5:05-5:35 meditation/pranayama. Come for both, or just asana, or just meditation. The meditation will be available in-person and online, and will be free each week to our community.

Happy Sunday, from our home practice to yours. ❤️🙏🏼

Samson has learned that he can be a little unemployed, freeloader 98% of the time. But when the yoga mat comes out, he has a job to do 🥰

It’s happening! We are going back to Egypt for a retreat with expthevillage and ibrahem_tourgide in October 2026. Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and all of the major sites you’ve been drooling over your entire life (or is that just me?! 😂).

A step back into history - while also an opportunity to experience modern Egyptian culture. AND the Grand Egyptian Museum has officially announced their opening for this fall - so we will finally get to step foot into this long awaited dream of a museum.

Each day includes yoga with yours truly - sometimes on the banks of the Nile River 😎 But always the practice you know and love to keep your body happy, your mind present, and your awareness tuned into this once in a lifetime experience ❤️❤️

October 18-28, 2026
Reach out with your questions! I would love to have you join us for this bucket list trip 🙏🏼

Tomorrow I cross the threshold into a new decade of life. 4️⃣0️⃣ As I reflect on my life to date - I feel most grateful for all the ways I get to serve. Trying to leave this world a little better than I found it. From our yoga community here at home, to ouThe Village Experiencece partnerships around the world … I hope that in this next decade, my life can continue to be a ripple of good in the world.

In honor of my birthday, I’m asking my friends, family, students, and those who walk through life with me to support our work in villages on the slopes of Volcano Fuego in Guatemala. We will be returning this October for another retreat and opportunity to connect with our partners and these communities.

Any donation of any amount will be put to good use and will mean the world to me. The greatest gift. More about our projects and a link to contribute:

Thanks for walking through life with me 🙏🏼❤️

I taught a class on the concept of returning home to yourself this morning. An inquiry I’ve been chewing on a lot over the last year. When the things that define our sense of home, our sense of structure, and our sense of belonging suddenly disappear … where does one find home?

I think the answer we often don’t want to hear is that it’s within. And that while we have no control over our external world order, we and we alone are responsible for our internal space. The most confronting and the most liberating seed we can plant in our practice.

But what a beautiful idea … if one can create a sense of home within. Can curate an internal space that makes you want to return to yourself and sit and stay awhile … well then, you’re prepared to weather many an external storm. You come with your steadiness, peace and roots - instead of needing to find them wherever life may take you.

Sorry there hasn’t been much posting of yoga or yoga content for a while. My practice has been deeply introspective for a while now … I’ve just been busy returning to myself, my home.

If you’re struggling to find yours, stick with it. Get quiet. Start looking inward more than outward. You’ve got this ❤️

Welcome.

I’m an Oregon yoga and SUP yoga teacher and creator of Yoga + Beer pairings. And I’m really glad you’re here. Here’s a bit more about me and my teaching.

A little bit about me: She/Her. Married to an incredible partner and grateful to live in the beautiful state of Oregon. I'm an introvert and a deep feeler of everyone's feelings and energy - which for me translates to caring about creating spaces that aspire to be welcoming and inclusive. I'm always looking to challenge my understanding of myself, of yoga, and the world we live in and to grow my awareness of how my words and actions impact others. I'm Type A to the core (working on letting go sometimes), analytical and generally consider myself to be a bit of nerd. Piano player. Book worm. Backyard chicken mama. Seeker of international travel. Chaser of sunsets. Craft beer admirer. Hiker. Stand Up Paddleboarder. Proud owner of Shanti the Shiba. All-around lover of life.

I have been teaching since 2010 and primarily teach a flowing, vinyasa style. My classes are anatomically informed and soulfully inspired and reflect what I've found to be empowering from the time I've spent on my own mat in practice (you can read about my certifications on my website). I aspire to infuse my passion for the practice, my love of music and genuine, life-inspired musings into each class. As an analytical human, I enjoy an alignment-based approach to asana, but believe that the alignment of postures should be something that is learned from the inside out, not from written rules. I strive to invite freedom of exploration, observation, and inquiry into each class that I teach, so that over time you learn what your authentic alignment is, on your mat, and off. My style creates a space for yogis to be challenged and to grow their practice, but also to find ease, confidence, laughter, yogi friends and bliss.

Welcome. I look forward to getting to know you.
