As I was cooking a big pot of soup this morning, I caught myself thinking, "I have a bag of spinach in the fridge. I should add that to the soup."
But then I remembered that just yesterday, I told myself I should stop buying spinach because I don't like it.
So there is no spinach in my lentil soup. Just another reminder that you don't have to eat things you don't like just because they are healthy. And I don't have to use the bag of spinach in my fridge at all. I can throw it out. It's probably half rotten anyway.
You are an adult. You get to choose what you eat. It's called having body autonomy, and it is a critical part of holistic health and well-being.
