Jessica Beitel, LPC-A

Jessica Beitel, LPC-A MS in mentla health counseling from Western Oregon University (class of 2025) I am honored to be your guide on your healing journey.

I specialize in working with adults and children who experience trauma and various mental health conditions. Trauma can interrupt healthy development in the brain and body in profound ways, particularly during formative years. I can assess, diagnose, and intervene with mental health disorders, addictions, chronic stress, and crisis using treatment plans that target my client's unique goals and objectives. Risk assessment is an important aspect of trauma-informed care for clients who have urges to harm themselves or others. In alignment with my integrative approach, I may involve my team of professional colleagues in treatment as needed, including our skills trainer and yoga instructor. I may also refer you to other holistic healers such as naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, and acupuncturists. In addition, I have the ability to refer you to one of our fully licensed more experienced counselors at Trauma Academy NW. I use several different evidence based therapy models to create an integrative approach, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Art, Music, and Play Therapy. I also hold a certificate in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for clients with strong urges and emotions. Dialectical Behavior Therapy is effective through building a strong foundation in of core skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. This is a collaborative process that requires your full presence and participation. This is a process you get out of what you put into it. I'm looking forward to learning more about what you hope to achieve through our therapeutic alliance.

Every day I’m walking several miles with my dogs and a total of 2 to 3 times per day rain or shine. Got to keep moving! Walking in nature with my dogs is one of the things I look forward to the most every day. I can feel the stress literally just melting away.

Real intimacy is built on safety — on steadiness, respect, and emotional responsibility. When someone makes you feel grounded instead of guarded, pay attention. That’s the kind of love that lasts. 🖤
