Sometimes i wonder if the people following my page think I'm too all over the place.

I post humor, information on medical, mental health, law enforcement and caregiving. Also on trauma, domestic violence, trafficking, safety, and more really weird humor. Then I remember most of my clients are healthcare providers, mental health providers, dental care providers and law enforcement and corrections and I remember we have to use humor to survive, stay informed and then follow up our day with more humor. Lol.

Anyone else have humor as both a trauma response and a coping skill? 😁

Working in these careers are amazing and rewarding and sometimes HARD, and traumatizing. Please be sure to find healthy outlets for your own self-care and healing.
Debrief, communicate, seek therapy and get massages. And stay hydrated and get rest when possible.
What simple things do you do to help you deal with clients, patients, and especially coworkers and administration?
