Today, we had the incredible honor of celebrating our 15 brave veterans at Friendship Salem Terrace. The warmth and gratitude in the air were palpable as we recognized their service and sacrifice for our country.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful partners who helped make this day so special! Your support and dedication played a vital role in creating an unforgettable celebration. Together, we honored these heroes with love, respect, and appreciation. Good Samaritan Hospice, Roanoke County Sheriff's Office, Roanoke College, Roanoke QOV Stitchers, Sunset Ministries Inc.

Let’s continue to cherish and support our veterans, not just today, but every day. Thank you for your service! ❤️

What another fantastic day celebrating National Assisted Living Week! It was such a joy to join our friends from Joseph C. Thomas at Friendship Richfield Living - Assisted Living for our very first day trip to Bristol VA/TN. We kicked off the adventure with a delicious lunch at Kickback Jacks, where laughter filled the air and everyone enjoyed each other’s company.

Afterward, we explored Bass Pro Shops, where the residents loved checking out the unique outdoor gear and fun displays. Shopping along State Street, Bristol was a highlight, with everyone picking out special items and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the area.

We capped off the day with a delightful dinner at The Farmhouse in Christiansburg, VA, where stories were shared and new friendships were made. It was heartwarming to see our residents, staff, and volunteers come together, creating such a supportive and joyful environment.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this trip possible! We cherish these opportunities to connect and create lasting memories, and we can't wait for more adventures ahead.

🌟 Day 2 of National Assisted Living Week: Time Travelers Expedition & Decades Party! 🌟

What an exciting day at our community as we celebrated Day 2 of National Assisted Living Week! Today’s theme, “Time Travelers Expedition,” took us on a thrilling journey through the decades. Residents and staff alike embraced the spirit of nostalgia, donning their favorite outfits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond! 🎉

The highlight of the day was our Decades Party, featuring the talented DJ Josh Urban, who kept the dance floor alive with classic hits that had everyone grooving. From the lively tunes of Motown to the energetic beats of disco, it was a fantastic opportunity for our residents to reminisce and share stories from their past.

Our dedicated staff truly shined today, rocking their purple attire along with their National Assisted Living Week T-shirts, showing their commitment to celebrating our residents and the wonderful lives they’ve led. 💜

Yesterday, our amazing departments showed their vibrant spirit by dressing in different rainbow colors, celebrating the diversity and unity that makes our team special. Today, we’re keeping the energy high with Fancy Friday, where some of our staff and leadership team dressed to impress! 💼🎉 Let's cherish the friendships we've built and continue to uplift each other!
