We wanted to give you an update regarding our response to the new coronavirus pandemic. I am sure many of you have been impacted in some way by this situation. This is a tough time for everyone, but we know that we are strong, and that we will get through this difficult time.
Our office has always followed all universal precautions and has diligent sterilization protocols. Last week, we expanded our sanitizing protocol to our waiting room, front desk, bathrooms, etc. And we implemented a symptom screening survey and are measuring the temperature on each patient.
We as dentists, have been monitoring this situation closely. On March 20th, the Oregon Governor issued an executive order for all dental offices to cease any non-emergency dental care in order to preserve PPE (masks, gloves, etc.) for first responders until June 15th.
Therefore, we are temporarily narrowing our practice to dental emergencies. This means that if you have an appointment scheduled between now and June 15th, your appointment will be canceled and we will contact you to reschedule your visit.
The following are circumstances that constitute a dental emergency:
- Pain or discomfort
- Dental infection, swelling or abscess
- Trauma with pain
- If you are unsure if you are experiencing a dental emergency, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Nathan Snyder at 541-602-3912.
We know that this is an inconvenience for our patients, and we look forward to the day that this is behind us. Our amazing staff including Drs. Nathan and Luisa will be ready and excited to get back and care for all of our current wonderful patients, and our future ones as well.
