"Some days I'm fine, other days I can barely function. Am I really sick, or am I just weak?"
Mental health conditions often fluctuate—that's part of how they work, not evidence that you're faking or overreacting. Depression, anxiety, and other conditions naturally have better and worse days.
This inconsistency makes it harder to seek help because on good days, you think "maybe I don't need treatment." Then bad days hit and you feel hopeless again.
The rollercoaster itself is the symptom that needs treatment. Stabilization means fewer extreme swings, not perfection every day.
Stop questioning your experience. Start getting support.
