If you have money set aside in a Flexible Savings Account (FSA) as part of your health insurance coverage, you can use it towards a new pair of glasses (or prescription sunglasses!) before the end of the year. Some insurance plans call it a Health Savings Account (HSA). Either way, if you have money in your account it will only last through the end of the year. That’s why you should use it now or lose it all! Some insurance plans allow you to carry the amount into the next year for a couple of months, but you still have to use it (or lose it). Yes, it can be confusing. Come talk to us, we can help!

Eye Care will be closed on Thanksgiving 11/28 and on Friday, 11/29. Our main clinic at 1309 Liberty SE, which is usually open on Saturdays will also be closed on 11/30. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Show us Your Smile.

Since the beginning of April, patients and staff are no longer required to wear masks in Oregon health care settings. This ends a statewide requirement that began in August 2021.

Masks remain an effective way to reduce transmission of respiratory viruses, and we recommended wearing a mask if you are sick. Individuals with health conditions that put them at high risk for severe illness should continue to wear masks wherever they feel comfortable.

This allows us to use available staff where need is greatest. Please note that Scheduled Doctor Appointments remain our top priority and will remain as scheduled.
