The friendly Food Drive Competition between Meadow View and Salem Crossing is really picking up! 🥫✨

Our teams have been working together to support a great cause, and here’s where things stand so far:
📍 Salem Crossing: 261 lbs
📍 Meadow View: 200 lbs

Thank you to everyone who has donated — your kindness is helping fill shelves at the Washington County Food Bank and making a meaningful difference for families in our community. ❤️

We’re still accepting donations at both facilities through 11/30, so there’s plenty of time to join in and support your favorite team.

♥️Honoring Our Heroes💙

Today, Meadow View Health and Rehabilitation proudly honored our veterans with a Veterans Day Walk along the Monon Trail South. It was a meaningful morning spent reflecting on the service and sacrifices of those who have bravely defended our freedom.

We also took the time to honor and recognize the veterans who chose not to participate in festivities-your service and sacrifices are equally appreciated, and you remain in our hearts today and everyday ♥️

A heartfelt thank you to Veterans Service Officer Andy Bush, Brooklyn Burton with Gentiva Hospice and Sadie Miskuf with Radius Indiana for joining us and supporting our veterans during the walk — your dedication and partnership mean so much.

We are forever grateful to all who have served. ❤️🤍💙

Congratulations Martin Cozart, Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

This recognition comes not only from the many nominations he received but also from the loyalty and appreciation of his staff and coworkers.

After years in the grocery industry, Martin changed careers in 2017 when he joined the local hospital in environmental services. He discovered his love for cleaning, something he valued since growing up in his mother’s and grandparents’ spotless homes. He joined Meadow View in 2022 Housekeeping Supervisor position. Since then, Martin has grown as a leader, developed confidence, and become a trusted part of the management team. His team describes him as approachable, supportive, and an excellent communicator.

Known as a “big-time team player,” Martin is passionate about his teammates and the residents. He prioritizes comfort, fairness, and teamwork, while continuing to develop through ASC’s leadership programs. He credits much of his success to Wanda Hamilton, Social Enrichment Director, and Krista Smith, Executive Director, both of whom provide him with encouragement and guidance. Krista noted, “Martin has developed into an excellent leader capable of growing into a bigger role at ASC. When he is ready, I will support his career growth and cheer him on!”

At home in Salem, Martin and Chad enjoy life with their three dogs. They love traveling, antiquing, flea markets, and decorating for every holiday. His warmth, leadership, and sense of fun make him a beloved part of Meadow View and a deserving Quest for Excellence winner.
