❄️ SAVE THE DATE ❄️ A little curveball from Mother Nature and some calendar chaos later… We are SO excited to share the new event date for our Freezin’ for a Reason Polar Plunge will be Saturday, March 21st!

Yes… it might be the first weekend of Spring. 🌷😅
But don’t you worry! The water will still be freezin’ cold! 🥶
One final freeze together before spring truly kicks off!

⏰ NEW EVENT TIME:
• Check-in, DJ, merch, raffles, food and By the Sea Coffee starting at 12:00 PM
• Polar Plunge at 1:30 PM (to align with high tide! 🌊)

Same cold water. Same brave plunge.
Still freezin’. Still for a reason. 🩵
More time to fundraise. More exciting prizes coming soon. 👀

And yes… you even get to sleep in a little! 😜

‼️❄️ URGENT UPDATE: POLAR PLUNGE POSTPONED ❄️‼️

After careful consideration and in close collaboration with Salem Fire Department & Emergency Management, Salem Harbor Master and Management at Winter Island Park, we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule our Polar Plunge on Saturday, January 31st. The safety of our community always comes first and this decision was made collectively with this priority at the forefront.

Please stay tuned! We will be sharing our new event date as soon as it is confirmed. All registrations and fundraising efforts will carry over to the rescheduled date.

Sippin’ our Monday coffee ☕ and getting even more excited to get Freezin’ for a Reason this Saturday! By The Sea Coffee Co will be serving delicious coffee drinks at the plunge to keep us cozy and energized for our icy dip.

Free for all plungers and spectators while supplies last — because who doesn’t love an iced coffee on a freezing cold day?! (Don’t worry, we’ll have hot drinks too 😜) ❄️🩵

To everyone who has already fundraised to support our mission: THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity allows us to show up for young people across the North Shore with care, connection, and support when they need it most.

Every dollar raised directly fuels our programming — from early mental health education with Understanding Emotions boxes for elementary students, to in-the-moment The World Needs You Here support boxes for adolescents and young adults, and peer-led ambassador programs and events that normalize mental health conversations in our communities.

A new year doesn’t mean everything suddenly feels better.. but it does give us a chance to turn the page. To start a new chapter with more understanding. To keep growing.
