He also works with the OneSight Foundation and the local Lion’s Club to provide eye care to low income residents in the Salem area. Dr Fast has been a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) for over 10 years. After graduating from Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR in 1999, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, Dr. Mark Fast worked as an optician in Salem, OR. After graduating from Pacific University in 2004 Dr. Fast worked as an independent contractor in the greater Portland. Dr. Fast lives in Tigard, OR with his wife, and their two wonderful children. He is involved in his church and community and enjoys traveling, working on computers, house projects as well as spending his free time with his family. Dr. Fast is joined by Dr. Charles Srisatayasunton and Dr. James Esposito to offer exams seven days a week.

Did you know that many forms of blindness and visual impairment are treatable or preventable?
If detected in an early stage, you can prevent diseases such as strabismus, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy from destroying your vision.
Other conditions such as trachoma can be treated with antibiotics, and a cataract in your eye can be removed with a simple surgical procedure.

Visit your optometrist today for a comprehensive exam!
