Above all else, we're committed to the care and improvement of human life. That includes helping provide food and nutrition for our communities! This November, our colleagues are collecting food and nutrition donations at our facilities as part of HCA Healthcare's Healthy Food for Healthier Tomorrows Food Drive. We'll positively impact a number of food banks across Southwest Virginia, and our colleagues across the country will support many more.

Additionally, we're proud to support the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce's efforts to benefit Feeding Southwest Virginia. Join the chamber at the Salem Civic Center on Friday, November 14 for a drive-through drop off event, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., at 1001 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153.

Have you heard of ? They’re small areas of dense, rounded lung tissue that go undetected for most people, although they’re often found during imaging tests, like a computerized tomography (CT) scan or an X-ray. While generally these nodules are not cancerous, the American Lung Association stresses the importance of getting them checked, as they could be an early sign of lung cancer.
