Join the Compress and Shock Foundation and the LewisGale trauma team for CPR and AED education, plus Stop the Bleed training with hands-on practice.

📍 Jubilee Christian Center, 7331 Lee Highway, Fairlawn
🕘 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21

Bring a friend, family member or neighbor — these are skills that can help save a life.

Stop the Bleed training will include how to apply direct pressure, pack a wound and use a tourniquet.

LewisGale Hospital Pulaski, LewisGale Hospital Montgomery and HCA Healthcare’s Capital Division are partnering with the Compress and Shock Foundation and Jubilee Christian Center to provide this training. A grant-funded AED will be provided to the church at the conclusion of the event.

February is American Heart Month with focus sharpened on raising awareness about heart disease, prevention, and encouraging lifesaving actions.

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S., according to the American Heart Association. However, it doesn’t always present with the classic chest pain we expect.

Join us in welcoming Jeffrey Kang, MD, FACS, a board-certified general surgeon welcoming new patients in Low Moor, Virginia.
