This year, we’re grateful to partner with Cherokee Bloom, a local flower farm here in Salida, to offer a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the women of Columbine. 🏵️ Together, we are working to ensure that every resident receives a fresh bouquet on Mother’s Day — a simple yet powerful gesture of beauty, remembrance, and connection. 💐

For many residents, holidays can be quiet. A bouquet can brighten a room, spark a memory, and remind someone that they are deeply valued. 🥰

Did you know that about 1.1 million people in the United States are living with Parkinson's disease (PD)? 🌷

🧠 This progressive brain disorder is perhaps most well known for causing tremors, but other symptoms include loss of vocal volume, sleep disruptions, stiffness, and balance issues, among others.

Thankfully, there are ways to improve Parkinson's symptoms! 😀 Our therapy team offers rehabilitation services to help improve mobility, range of motion, function, and speech for those living with PD. Call us to see how we can support you or your loved one.

It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.

During Occupational Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the amazing therapists who help our rehab patients rebuild confidence, independence, and the skills that make daily life meaningful. 🫶
